This is a fine hotel if you are staying say 1-2 nights. The location is good - literally across the road from Strasbourg's train station and on the edge of the very oldest and nicest part of the city. The room was spacious and not uncomfortable. And in its day the hotel must have been as its name suggests a... More

disappointed with the standard in many areas. notices aplogised for on goining renovation. when we got to our room it seems the bathroom had been refurbished and that the bedroom had half a lick of paint. flat pack furniture of poor quality and finish. there was only one light in the bathroom which was very dull. not good for shaving... Went to Strasbourg for Xmas and you can see the hotel right away when you walk out from the train station. Compared to the other photos I've seen on here, our triple room turns out to be quite basic but no complaints there - everything was clean and tidy. Staff are friendly. They gave us a map to show us... More

I though it would be a very nice hotel based on the price the photos and reviews. Nothing like that. It is semi-renovated. The entrance, stairs and first atmosphere was quite pleasant although the front door opens in a weird outward directiom that almost slaps your face. The reception staff was very kind and helpful. But the rooms were a... More

Very nice hotel with nice design, comfortable bed, very helpful and friendly hotel stuff. The quality can be rated a 4 stars (compare to other European 3 stars hotels). Little critique would be that the room is a bit noisy. But it didn't bother us too much after tiring day travelling and visiting the towns.

Hotel staff were extremely helpful and spoke very good English. They were able to direct us with using the trams. We intended to stay 2 nights an ended up staying 4 nights because we loved the hotel and Strasbourg.

This was a great hotel - immediately visible as you exit from the main train station. Service was fabulous. We stayed for two nights, and enjoyed a reasonable breakfast on both days, although to my surprize, the coffee was terrible! The room was quiet and clean, and we both felt very secure. It is located a short walk to Petit... More

This is a grand old hotel which has been very tastefully modernised with all facilities, including air conditioning in the rooms. On the front side, it overlooks the Place de la Gare, and the space-aged frontage of the railway station. (The Place is always busy with all manner of people making their way to and from the station, using it... More

Once we walked out from the gare, and saw our hotel just a place across, we were so glad that we didn't have to drag our luggage long! The public area was kind of chic and in design, and the reception were friendly. The miracle happened when we stepped into the room and found the window open. Why? Because there... More

We spent a weekend here and found it to be a clean, convenient location close to the station. We were able to drop our luggage off when we arrived, and also they stored it all day on our departure day. It was great to be able to walk around unencumbered by suitcases! The staff was friendly and helpful, but there... More
