I stayed at the Maison Rouge last week with my sister and we enjoyed our time there. The hotel has it's own charm and we had a very comfortable (and I assume) refurbished room. We were in a room overlooking the street but had no trouble with noise. The staff was polite and efficient. We did find them a little... More

This hotel is certainly not 4 star as far as we were concerned - more like a 3 star. Be careful when you book your room as they have varying sizes apparently of double rooms - they are not all a typical standard size. We asked for a room on a lower floor and ended up with a very small... More

Stayed here for one night. The reception desk staff extremely courteous, discrete and helpful. The room itself was tired, the bathroom extremely dated and apart from the red lights on the walls, the atmosphere was dowdy. Beds however, extremely comfortable, plenty of towels and free slippers. Breakfast buffet would have been better had we arrived earlier but at 10am there... More

Upon celebrating our 25th anniversary, my wife and I choose "the Christmas Market Capital of Europe", Strasbourg. The Maison Rouge hotel was a pleasant surprise, and was very comfortable. Clean room, nice staff and a good breakfast. I have no problem recommending this hotel. The only negative comment I have, is the placement of the coffee machine. It was noisy... More

Travelled on business. Hotel has a great location. Tidy and well maintained from the outside. Problems with a very dated interior design. I do not mind old furniture in the rooms as long as beds are comfy and rooms are clean, but stained carpets/curtains and tired looks are not helping the image of 4 star hotel. The lobby/bar/corridors can be... More

Location of hotel was really cool. Had to park about 2 blocks away, but no big deal. Rooms were very nice. Breakfast was good. The Otel deal with breakfast included was excellent. Only downside was that you could the other rooms in the morning. Difficult to sleep in.

I stayed in this hotel during a business trip in January 2015. The hotel is very nice looking, clean and most of all it is just off Place Kleber so if you are on vacation and you want to visit Strasbourg or do some shopping it is the ideal place. Galerie Lafayette is just next door and the train station... More

Great location, room was spotless, staff was... mostly good. We were lead to believe up front that breakfast was included with the cost of our room and it was a bit of a nasty shock to be hit with a charge for it as we checked out. It was a good breakfast, certainly, but we would've sought something cheaper had... More

I came here with my dad for the Sainte Marie aux Mines mineral and gem exposition and I was surprised. Even tough my room was next to the tram line I could perfectly sleep duing the night thanks to a night shader system(i know sounds strange). Awesome service they offered to help as much as they could. Lovely place to... More

Recently stayed at this hotel with my mom on a Christmas trip to Strasbourg. It was the best location we could possibly ask for to visit the Christmas markets. The hotel was lovely and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was probably the largest of all of our European stops, clean and inviting. The bathroom was also... More
