As an American living abroad, my husband and I generally try to stay in american-type hotel brands. This Hilton is exactly a 4 start American style hotel. Our stay was great and pleasant. The area is not right downtown although it's easy to drive into the city center or take the tram. The concierge and staff was very helpful. On... more

I have spent one night on 17 May in this hotel. Since I was attending a conference in Palais d'Europe, I was looking for accommodation close to the Council of Europe. Booked a room in Hilton for 99 Euro/night, which seemed a great value for money compared to other hotels nearby (some 3-star hotels cost 123-130 Euros, and Hilton is... more

It's true that the hotel is not very centrally located, but it's a short 5-minute walk to the tram, which made it convenient to get to the city center. We spent very little time at the hotel, and did not eat at any of the restaurants there, but the hotel served as a decent base to explore the lovely city... more

I used to work for this hotel. Expect a Hilton experience with better than average cuisine and service. This hotel was built originally to cater to the European Parlement customers, so it is better situated for them than for the average tourist. The neighborhood is unremarkable and the major tourist attractions in the city center are not within walking distance. more

I booked this room the day befor checking in at a low rate of 70 euro for 2 with breakfast. This was part of the Jan sale. I booked 2 nights. Checking in was fine, got upgraded to the EX level, I'm Diamond with Hilton. As Diamond I also got access to the lounge on the 7th floor. This was... more

We stayed at the Hilton Strasbourg to visit the Christmas markets. We have stayed at many Hiltons in Europe (multiple London, Stockholm, Barcelona, Venice, etc.) as a Gold VIP member and this was the best experience by far. The service was outstanding. From valet parking to bag assistance to a helpful executive lounge to a knowledgeable front desk and even... more

Very good 4 star hotel. Private outdoor parking. Executive lounge with fine view of the city (cathedral) from the top floor. The room and bathroom are sufficiently large, modern and well maintained. Excellent bed. My room was on the opposite side of the main road, with view on tennis fields and the city and cathedral as background. It was really... more

If you arrive in Strasbourg by train, do your homework in advance. Unless you have lots of luggage, it's an easy tram trip to the hotel. Three blocks on either end of the trip. We took a cab from the train station and paid 20 euro. I enjoy walking, so I had no problem with the hotel's location. It's a... more

Above average accomodations reletive to the area, as can be expected from a Hilton. Professional and courteous staff and clean facilities. We got breakfast with our stay and it was a moderately sized spread. Not everything you can imagine, but not skimpy either. The OJ was great, but the grapefruit juice was a little fermented though :( Only other downside... more

I recently stayed at the Hilton Strasbourg for 3 nights. As others have mentioned, the hotel is situated outside the center of town but there are trams nearby which can take you into town within a few minutes. The hotel itself is next to the Palais de Congres. The staff was very friendly and when I checked in, I forgot... more
