My wife and i have just returned from a 6 day holiday with Traveleditions Holidays to Alsace regio staying at this hotel.I was a bit dubious before i booked this as I have not been that impressed by some of the Holiday Inns particularly the slightly older ones. I am please to say all my worries were quickly dispersed. The Hotel... more

We stayed there a couple of days last week-end and here is our review: * Hotel: It definitely needs renovation and, maybe more important for the IHG Group, a clear re-branding! When you arrive at Place de Bordeaux, it's pretty difficult to see the Holiday Inn Logo on the roof of the building. More visible is the Hilton not so... more

We paid an unscheduled visit to Strasbourg on a European road trip, and were so glad we did. The big hotel car park (no extra charge) was exactly what we needed. We walked into the hotel un-announced and were offered a room for around £100. As the room wasn't ready, we were upgraded to a larger room at the front... more

Good overnight stop and a quick tram ride into the city centre for the evening. Family room was large with two double beds. Had a good bar, restaurant and pool. Good breakfast in the morning. Large hotel. Not particularly pretty but does the job! more

We came to Strasbourg without reservation and were happy to find this hotel between the city centre and the European quarter. The hotel has plenty of free parking space, so it's easy to leave your car right in front of the entrance. As other reviewers have remarked, the tram connection into the centre is frequent and quick, so locationwise it's... more

In addition to the comments given here already (old fashioned, badly maintained), the basics in this hotel were really not in order. Bad isolation (highway noise), broken TV, broken heating (sweated all night). The only positive point was the friendliness of the staff, but definately not worth the € 200 I paid for it. As said before, there are much... more

I was a bit hestitant about this property, since it is not in the heart of the city, but not to worry! A fabulous tramline passes right in front, and takes you everywhere a tourist would want to go in Strasbourg. It's simple to use and you get a little scenic tour on the short ride into the city centre.... more

My wife & i stayed at this hotel just for one night on the 18th of november 2005 and we were very happy with the all package. The hotel isn`t situated in the center like the title would suggest , taking the tram it`s 3 to 4 stops away from the heart of the city. We came by car &... more

As members of the Priority club, this hotel is good for a center city location. Just a 3 min walk to the tram which takes you (3 stops, 8 min) to the center of town, near the Cathredral and shopping areas. Leave your car at the hotel and enjoy the walk about town. Hotel staff spoke english and were helpful... more

The hotel calls it self Strasbourg city centre, which it isn't, but being by the Lycee Kleber tram stop is a saving grace. The hotel is clean, rooms are good, reception staff are keen to please. The restaurant is small so breakfast can be a bit fraught, although the food is good. We tried dinner there, but this is certianly... more
