I stayed at the Sofitel on conference before moving to this hotel when I extended my trip as (1) it is cheaper and (2) it was supposed to be near the train station and the Petit France area, unlike the Sofitel. When I first saw the exterior of this hotel, I was utterly depressed and wanted to cry! After the... more

The location is good but, many hotels in Strasbourg have good locations. The hotel was sort of clean but, well worn. More like a 2 star than three. Breakfast was good but, expensive. more

The Best Western is a great little place from which to see the sights of Strasbourg. Close to the cathedral and the river, and situated in downtown shopping, this hotel is perfect for travellers who came by train. The rooms are great as well, with all the amenities you will need for your trip. more

Tucked away on the "island" in the centre of Strassbourg, the best thing about this hotel is its position. It is 10 mins walk from the train station, and 5 minutes from petit France, the spectacular old cathedral, and countless fabulous dining experiences. Rooms are cheerfully decked out in faded 80's chic - lime green bedspreads and peach walls -... more

We have stayed in a lot of Best Westerns but would not recommend this one, Had to move rooms late at night due to a loud buzzing noise coming from the a.c. moved us to the room next door and we could still hear the noise. When we told the girl on the desk next morning she was not interested,... more

I spent one night in this hotel. It was nothing special in any way. The big plus is the location convenient to the center of town. My room was on the top floor facing the interior courtyard. There was no view of anything except the courtyard. Relatively early Saturday morning there was enough noisy work going on in the courtyard... more

It's a cheap, confortable and clean hotel. Kind service. Decent breakfast (sweet and salty) although overpriced. Internal car parking provided. Very close to the center, it's a good spot to start your Strasburg visit. I love this city. Recommended if you're a good traveler !! more

Visited as part of a coach tour with Travelsphere, an overnight stop en-route to Italy. From the moment one enters this hotel, the sense of superiority is blinding. The superbly furnished reception is staffed by truly multilingual, competent and helpful employees. The stairwells could have used some updating, but a good lift is available as an alternative. Very secure rooms... more

We stayed for the weekend at this hotel and were very pleased with our experience. The pluses are: walking distance from train station, air conditioning, large and clean room, courteous staff, and good location to get to town center. Strasbourg is not a big city, it's relatively easy to get around on foot or by tram. Although there is another... more
