This isn't a hotel which I should advise for others. Everything is old and needs to be replaced. With 33 degrees outside an airco isn't a luxury. So if you have another option to sleep, almost 100% it is better than this one

Dear Maarten D, We are sorry to hear about your disappointment. Regarding the age of our hotel, it opened in 2008, so we can not say that it is old. These last days, we faced a heat wave, we lend ventilators on simple request, at the reception, to compensate the absence of air conditioning. We hope that this elements will... More

The hotel isn't in a fabulous location, but it's perfectly adequate whether you're a traveller with a car, a student or a business traveller. The rooms are fine. We had a one bedroom apartment and the kitchen had all of the equipment you would need to self-cater. Our room was clean and had a good supply of towels, toilet rolls... More

No good service but clean enough to sleep. Old facilities. Rooms without confort. Good hotel if you wanna sleep one night saving your money. Breakfast with croissant, bread and ham and cheese. Far by the city center, after the midnight you have to grab a taxi to come back to the hotel. Industrial area.

Dear Luca R, Thank you for sharing your feedback following your stay in our hotel. We are sorry if we did not reach all your expectations. Our hotel is only 10 minutes far from the city center in tramway. The last tramway leaves at half past midnight. Regarding your comment on our “old facilities”, we are happy to tell you... More

Really basic appartment hotel in the souther suburbs of Strasbourg, situated in a commercial area. Parking the car is no problem, since the streets are not busy at all. Having said that, the whole area is not really busy and a little creepy at night. Next Tram station is 5 minutes away and it takes approx 20 minutes to city... More

I am writing this more to inform than provide my opinion. When I booked I knew it would't be the best based on other reviews. Not terrible but not necessarily good. The location was good for the Christmas Markets which is why we were there. It was outside of the city, so in a quiet part of town, yes near... More

Dear Vanessa G, Thank you for sharing you experience of your recent stay in our hotel. We are glad to learn that you enjoyed our geographic position, and the value for money. Regarding the Wi-Fi, we actually have had some network troubles, but now, they have been solved. It is true that the Wi-Fi can be slow when the residence... More

Old, small, tiny rooms, old beds, old bathrooms, tiny shower, student furniture, smelly, cracked walls, far, poor location, overpriced accommodation and breakfast. Better avoid it, unless you know you're not coming to 3 star hotel

The only criticism of the Cerise would be the lack of air conditioning and maybe the bathroom being airless! We had a heat wave when we visited and were given two fans which did help. The people were lovely and so helpful. The breakfast was adequate. However, we were pleasantly surprised about the flat which was spacious and lovely-the children... More

Well, I guess I could stay again at the hotel, but I would try to fin a better option 1st. The bedroom and bathroom were clean, but when I opened the window, I find a terribly dirty balcony. made me sick. Also the ventilation of the bathroom was very dirty. After I complained at the front desk it took less... More

When you are joined by your kids on the travel excursion it is sometimes necessary to look for a larger accommodation unit, preferably with a kitchenette, and it should be moderately priced. The Cerise fit some of these requirements. The place is handy to infrastructure and there is free parking handy and generally its not too bad. Clean enough, but... More

This place is adequate but it is near only the tram and a mosque, as far as I could tell. On the upside, I discovered a funky, cafe with green tea and beer (etc.) while riding the tram into town. It was truly local folks - men, women and children - and no tourists! Didn't feel comfortable making the few... More
