The hotel is in a wonderful setting, overlooking a forest, part of a national park. It's the perfect boutique hotel, small and intimate, with comfortable, elegant and spacious rooms. The spa itself is very well equipped, with a wide range of saunas, a couple of pools and a wonderful relaxation room. They offer a broad range of treatments that are... More

This hotel is very neat. If you're looking for some quiet peaceful time, this hotel is really a must. It is located in a beautiful environment, where you can do some hiking or mountain biking. The hotel itself has a (limited) wellness zone, which was also very clean. On Saturday it was too crowded though. We booked the comfort room,... More

Recurrent guest, I always find something new and exciting @ La Clairiere. Yoga lessons, nordic walking, relaxing and rejuvenating atmosphere, but also great food, good wine, comfortable rooms and... incredibly juicy bio apples at the reception... I'll come back soon.

After a week in this hotel, our batteries were totally reloaded. We stayed in a room with terrasse and choosed for the demi pension formula. The room was very good with relaxing bed, nice bathroom, small save and terrasse to the south. It was only 1 night difficult to sleep because of outside day temperature of 38 C. The BIO... More

We stayed at La Clariere for a week. Right away our room was upgraded to a bigger room. The room was spacious and comfortable with a small balcony. We took a package deal that included 3 meals and spa treatments. The hotel also offers yoga and Chi-Qong for its guests. The food was delicious, like eating in a chef's restaurant-... More

Me (german) and my wife (japanese) need here and then an escape from our City routine... Since my wife is very good in sourcing out unique escape destinations around Germany/Europe. First I was a little sceptical as we we consider us as foodies and wellness pro's, but when we arrived there we were blowing away from the location of the... More

I have been to three yoga retreats hosted by the La Clariere. The hotel and the nature surrounding it are perfect for a true getaway. The service is very friendly and helpful, the rooms spacious and comfortable, the food healthy and delicious. And of course…the spa is the icing on the cake. The sauna with a window looking onto the... More

It was a big disappointment right from the start: unfriendly staff, old hotel where you see immediately that the owners try to save money in any way possible. Nothing special: mugs from IKEA, tea from Naturata, chocolate bars in the fridge were perished since months. Considering money spent you would expect a better service, instead it was just poor.

Thank you very much for your feedback on your stay. Since its creation in 1981 and having started out with just ten rooms, the hotel expanded to fifty rooms in just twenty years. During these years, we have constantly invested in new buildings and renovated the existing ones. If our aim was to "save money in any way possible" (quote),... More

Good spa area but very old fashioned rooms. Definitely not good value for money since it is fairly expensive. We had to leave in advance because of personal issues but the Direction did not want to apply a discount for the night we did not stay. We will not go again.

Thank you very much for your feedback on your stay. We are very sorry that you had to leave our hotel before the expected departure date. As the hotel was fully booked and you left after check out time, we did apply our cancellation policy. As a family hotel and having started out with just ten rooms in 1981, the... More
