My children and I found this hotel to be overall a good experience. It was convenient to the downtown area with enough free parking across the street, and had a wonderfully helpful staff. The rooms were basic and clean. Comfortable beds and amenities were adequate. The train across the street was the only downside but we were so tired, it... More

The receptionist was pleasant and helpful but the room is small, shabby and depressing. and the hotel is LOUD. Loud like a disco or a university dorm on Saturday night. Loud music and shouting. Even with the windows closed. I am writing this at 4 a.m. after giving up trying to sleep.

We spoke French from the outset here, and did eventually manage to get a smile from the lady behind the desk at check-in. Arrival was very efficient. Our room was clean, and partially renovated, the bed appeared new but we really didn't find it very comfortable. We over-looked the railway, but the soundproofing was very effective and we didn't notice... More

A good place in Colmar, France. As we have to speak English in the US, its not bad to speak french in France...The hotel is nearly centrally located. , so one can walk downtown in 5 minutes.the hotel was renovated recently,so it is not that noisy, even if along the railway. our room was clean and big. The price is... More

Very noisy with barely any soundproof walls. Great difficulty for non-French speakers to communicate. Noone spoke decent English. Breakfast was very very bad.

The staff was rude, and the room was of poor quality and filthy!! This is with no doubt the words stay ever! Me and my wife tjecked in and were met by a very rude receptionist who never gave us the courtesy to make eyecontact. When we opened the door to the room, we were chocked: Small black curly hairs... The hotel website is completely misleading - the lobby looks nothing like the photo online, nor do the rooms. The room I checked into hadn't been properly cleaned (esp the bathroom) and the door to the room didn't appear to lock securely. The hotel is located next to the TGV line, with trains going by every few minutes. I recommend... More

I was a little worried about this hotel but our stay was fine. The lady who checked us in wasn’t very friendly which was a shame and we were also asked to pay the full amount for our stay as soon as we got there which shouldn’t happen. However, the night staff man and the other woman who worked there... More

I don't expect Holiday Inn quality hotels when I travel in Europe on a budget. Clean sheets and hot water is usually all I need. That said, this place seemed like a real dump after coming from the tidy budget hotels in Germany. The halls stink of cigarettes, the lighting is bad, and the rooms are shopworn and tacky. Our...
