We were 2 senior couples on holiday in mid-winter in Colmar. Asked for "comfort rooms" which are a tad larger than the usual tiny rooms in Europe. Well worth it. Nice, clean hotel in the old city centre within easy walking distance of everything. There was even a lift which was convenient. Nothing particularly charming or special about the hotel... More

We were on a Rick Steves group tour and stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. We really lucked out by getting room 110, which is a handicap room. The room was absolutely huge with two twin beds pushed together, 2 night stands and a separate seating area with a couch, table, a couple chairs, a desk and flat screen... More

This was our second stay at Le Rapp and once more we were definitely convinced that it was the right choice. We travelled to Colmar as a family to attend the amazing classical music festival this time and enjoyed our stay at le Rapp. Our son of age 4, who would get bored strolling the city and hanging around with... After a long drive from Brugge, Belgium on a Friday with too much traffic, we got to the hotel later than expected. Tired and hungry, we were so glad that the hotel staff were so helpful and kind. We don't speak french, but luckily the hotel staff spoke a little English. After helping us figure out where to park our... More

I have to preface this by saying that we were not fans of Colmar in general, but the hotel contributed to that. The hotel seemed old, drab and overpriced (and would say the same for Colmar). Look into the towns of Ribeauville or Riquewihr in the same area.

the staff at Le Rapp was just wonderful - they were so friendly and very helpful. The hotel is in a great spot close to most everything (restaurants, museums, cathedral, covered and open air markets, Petite Venice) and has a parking garage if you are driving. We found this very convenient as we had appointments in some nearby villages during... More

Spent Nov 28 - Dec 1 2013 in Colmar and the surrounding towns. It was the start of the Christmas markets that weekend, and not too busy yet for the march to Christmas. Le Rapp is awesome. Perfect location...just off the busy streets. 5-10min walk to anywhere you'd want to go in Colmar. Our room was modern and clean....i've been... More

Le Rapp Hotel is in a perfect location, within easy walking distance (even for a foot-sore senior traveler!) of Little Venice, the old center city, the Unterlinden museum, the cathedral -- everything you really want to see in Colmar. It has an elevator, although to some of the rooms there are three more steps up and down. I think you... More

We stayed here 4 nights through Christmas Eve 2013. The staff was wonderful and gave us great recommendations for superior restaurants in the Old Town. We made reservations for the Christmas Eve Dinner at the hotels restaurant and it was over the top. A 7 course 2.5 hour affair with each selection presented artfully and an excellent meal in itself.... More

This hotel is in the old town and a very easy ten minute walk from the rail station through the park. It is a typical old fashioned French hotel which is undergoing some refurbishment - this can be very disturbing during the day. The rooms are a good size, clean with a decent sized bed and the decor is pleasant.... More
