The room looked like photos provided on tripadvisor, and was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Amenities weren't upscale (no extra large towels or separate containers of shampoo or lotion), but the price hadn't led us to expect otherwise. Reception staff spoke very good English and were friendly and helpful. We walked to and from the train station with luggage in 15... More

Stayed for two nights in May 2015 whilst travelling to the Italian Lakes. Friendly reception staff who did not mind conversing in English (unlike some places we stayed). Arrived on Monday when many of the restaurants are closed but we were directed to a really nice place with excellent food by the recetionist about five minutes walk away. Really close... More

This is a simple hotel a short walk from Colmar centre. Staff at reception were very professional and welcoming and spoke excellent English too. We booked the largest room available at a cost of EUR100 per night and both the room and bathroom were clean and a comfortable size. Wifi is free and worked fine. If you need a basic,... More

Large hotel with capacity for big parties. Located a few minutes from the petite Venise canal. There is small indoor parking in case you wish to avoid street parking but you will need to reserve a spot. Internet was poor. Breakfast was excellent. We would stay there again.

The hotel has a good cost-benefit and the location is great, only 2 blocks from the Old Town! The room where we stayed in was simple, but very clean and comfortable, also because of the sound proof windows, the good size and the free and efficient Wi-Fi. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast had a great selection... More

Just spent a few days at this wonderful hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms very clean (although also quite small - the three bed family room that we had was very cramped), breakfast very reasonable for the price. The elevator was small but that was really only a problem when getting baggage to the room. Parking (pay) was available... More

We used the Hotel Turenne as our base for a two week visit to Colmar and Alsace, with day trips to the Schwartzwald, Mulhouse, Strasbourg, and the wine country villages. With some care to insure you are in the renovated rooms we were delighted with the care, kindness, and hospitality of the multi-lingual staff, and the facilities in general. The... More

Hotel Turenne is located just outside the old town, everything is easily reached by foot. Rooms are well equipped and very clean, but rather small. It is ok though, if you stay just 2 or 3 days. Breakfast is ok and an excellent value for the 9 Euro it costs. Staff both at the restaurant and at check-in are nice.... More

On our way back home from our ski holiday we stayed 1 night and are absolutely in favor of this hotel. A few minutes from the highway, private locked parking (for a 7 € plus), nicely renovated room and bathroom, walking distance from the beautiful city center (where we went for dinner). Breakfast is rather basic, all self service so... More
