It is not easy to find hotel rooms that accomodate 2 adults and 2 children in France, so we were happy to discover that the Hotel Turenne had family rooms available. The room was a decent size and had a partition wall between the 2 double beds. There was a small table with 4 chairs, so we were able to... More

Unfortunately, we didn't get one of the newly decorated room. It was a bit dated, however, it was comfortable and had large sun roof type of window. This is definitely a budget hotel, no frills, but again, comfortable. The location was excellent - little Venice was an easy 10 minute walk. Restaurants as well, nothing was far. The parking spaces... More

This 3 stars little hotel Is located just before the pedestrian area, 5 min away from the city center by walking. Little but beautiful, cleaned and silent, modern style rooms. The breakfast is at buffet, with good range of food and beverage and, for us italians, delicious caffè espresso and cappuccino . The staff Is gentle and careful. A not... More

A great central hotel to use as a headquarters when exploring the Alsace region of France. Clean, comfortable and modern rooms. An easy walk to the central area of Colmar. Plenty of free on street parking, which is a plus. Great breakfast also.

My husband and I just got home from our first trip to Europe. We were gone for 3 weeks and stayed in 6 different places. Hotel Turenne in Colmar was by FAR the nicest hotel of our trip, and it wasn't the priciest. We loved it! We got one of the recently-updated rooms and it was beautiful. Everything seemed brand... I have stayed at this hotel more times than at any other hotel in the world: twice a year every year for many years as a boy, stopping en route to the Alps. Twenty-five years later I have just repeated the experience with my son. The essence of Hotel Turenne remains the same: a comfortable, convenient hotel within walking distance... More

So you can't fault the location... right by Colmar's old town which is lovely to stroll through. But in terms of the hotel, while the rooms pictured above looked lovely that certainly wasn't anything like the room we slept in! I had booked a large room - large it was not. The furnishing/decor was old fashioned and not in a... More

The hotel is located next to the Petite Venise and close to the train station (15 minutes walk). Our room was very spacious, modern and clean. Breakfast - a buffet - was good and full of choices. Well worth our money!

The hotel was just a short walk to the center and sigh Petit Venise. It has two amazing French bakeries within 2min walking get distance. Hotel staff very really friendly and rooms were spotless. The fittings were all modern and definitely worth the money.

This hotel had the best location. It was right on the corner of old town Colmar near "Little Venice". A short 3 block walk brought you to the best restaurants about best view of the old homes and long the small paddle boats to take down the canal. The rooms are new and updated but the standard double is very... More
