We loved this hotel. It is located right in the middle of town so it is very convenient for sightseeing. Our room was quiet, comfortable and all of the facilities were up to date. The air-conditioning worked perfectly and we thought the service was excellent. Contrary to some of the other people's comments about the breakfast in the hotel, we... More

In my opinion, the hotel doesn't meet at all the criteria of a five-star hotel. The hotel is situated in the very heart of Colmar Old Town in a beautiful historical building. Although, the service is poor, and so are the room and amenities. The room was outdated, with a worn carpet on the floor. The bed was not comfortable.... More

La Maison des Tetes is an absolute GEM in Colmar! While very inexpensive for France, the staff is super friendly, the rooms and bathrooms are surprisingly HUGE, the location is superb and the courtyard is gorgeous! Romantic! GO! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

This hotel has a great location for exploring Colmar. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. They will live up to their high rating, IF and WHEN they install wifi that works in the rooms (as advertised) and is not slow and sporatic in the lobby. We heard a number of guests complain about this to... More

We loved La Maison Des Tetes! The hotel is a beautiful, centrally located, historic hotel in the center of Colmar. My husband and I stayed 4 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our large room was very quiet and comfortable with a beautifully updated bathroom. The new owners, Marilyn and Eric Girodin, were very warm and welcoming, helping us with... More

This was the last stay of our Alsace bike tour along the Wine Route. Our luggage didn't arrive at the appointed time and the owner went out of her way to contact the previous night's hotel to locate our luggage and help us with the cycle tour company to ensure the speedy arrival of our luggage. Because it was a... More

We spent one night in Colmar at this hotel. I was greeted at the desk by a delightful, polite and helpful young man, 12 years old, I believe. He was filling in for a few minutes while his mom was busy. He checked us in with great efficiency. It turns out his parents had just purchased the hotel that week.... More

We stayed for 4 nights at this beautiful hotel. It was a really good location, the room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. What let the hotel down was that if you have a room at the front (as we did), then it gets extremely noisy as if faces onto a street with shops. The bathroom is... More

The hotel is very central (2 minutes walk from the cathedral), it has a lot of history and the building itself is beautiful. the staff is friendly. The room has a nice jacuzzy and the size of the room is quite good. Our room overlooked the one of the central street so it was a bit noisy in the morning... More

The hotel building dates to the early 17th century and although the facilities have been updated to modern, the facade has preserved its original beauty. Stayed one night and enjoyed the stay and the location, within walking distance of Colmar center. The restaurant is equally historic with good service and great food. Colmar is a magical french town dating the... More
