Quiet even though we faced the street. Nice amenities as expected for 4-5 star hotel. Very helpful staff. Would like a shower that I can stand under and not hold...my only complaint. Carpet is a little worn, but it is an old hotel. It does have a lift, a nice perk!

We stayed in this beautiful hotel for two nights. The location is great, right at the entrance of the old town, in a fairly quiet zone. The parking lot behind the hotel is a great advantage. Our room was very spacious, elegant and comfortable. The only hitch was the restaurant. The food was fine but the service painfully slow. By... More

We spent three nights in a large and comfortable room in this hotel located in an ancient building in the city center. So far so good. But regrettably all was spoiled by the extraordinarily bad service. The manager, a sullen, unfriendly and unhelpful woman has put together an entirely amateurish and hopelessly incompetent staff. Internet connection was erratic. Service in... More

We found this little gem by accident as the hotel we wanted to book was full. Set right in the centre of Colmar, amongst it's centuries old buildings, (medieval style) this is a beautifully classic French hotel with quirky features such as bright pictures on the solid wooden doors to the rooms. Room was spacious, bed very large and comfy.... More

This beautiful and historic family run hotel continues to maintain its very high standards. It is delightful to stay in such an old and historic building with rooms that are full of charm and character whilst also being very comfortable. Some look over a pretty and quiet courtyard while others look out over the Rue des Tetes with the famous... More

This hotel is perfectly located, we had a room overlooking the courtyard which was wonderful, lots of space and old world charm with good facilities. The restaurant had a great menu, service slow but ambience and quality of food made up for delay. Parking a bonus and great location for visiting the Alsace wine area. Staff very obliging with husband... More

Very welcoming service and advise. The owner rang tourist places for me and booked me in, very helpful!! Great location in a beautiful building. Down side was an extremely hard bed! I couldn't sleep through the night in my 2 night stay. And it was very hot on the top floor, and although air conditioning was great, it was loud.... More

It's an old Hotel... But, that's what you want in Colmar. Rooms are outdated, but we had a good sleep and a great breakfast. Service was excellent. Coming by car? Prepare your ride!!! The restaurant could have been nice, but is NOT open on Sunday and Monday (no decent restaurants are open on Monday). Colmar as a town has lost... More

Our satnav could not find the way to the hotel but got us close. I had to park & walk there to find the right streets. But we loved the hotel which has a unique character, The building itself is quite historic & the façade on the Rue des Tetes is wonderful; it is on postcards & in the brochures.... More

We stayed 3 nights in June. Lovely, large room overlooking the noisy busy street. The whole hotel needs an update It is old and tired. Even so, we enjoyed our stay as the location is central to everything and above all it had it's own private on site arking which is important to us.
