Centrally located on Grand'Rue this hotel is in the middle of everything worth seeing. Restaurants abound right out the front door and free parking in a municipal lot is very close. Easy access to all rooms through stairs or elevator. The rooms do not have A/C but a fan kept ours very comfortable. WiFi signal was one of the strongest... More

The Hotel Saint Martin is in the center of old town Colmar and so convenient to everything in the city. Short taxi ride and if you don't have much luggage it is about a 15 minute walk, just be sure to check your Colmar map. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the friendly staff at the... More

The location is perhaps not so easy to find the first time, but then you're squarely in the middle of the old city and it's so very convenient for exploring afoot. The people at the front desk are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was substantial and varied, and the young lady who tended the breakfast room every morning was so... More

Located at the very centre of the old town the hotel is ideally placed to use as a base. We arrived to a warm welcome and (after noting the tip of an earlier visitor) were placed in a lovely family room overlooking the small courtyard.

Also good service; very clean rooms; fast free Internet. . No parking available but can park nearby for long term for free. Best choice to explore city and go around by foot... value for money. . They have 3 different buildings; one of them renovated. . Anyway others are good as well..

Very well located in the heart of Colmar and very affordable. This is a no frills but very clean hotel with awesome air conditioning and a good sized bathroom. Check in was a breeze with an elevator and friendly staff.

We went to Colmar on a recommendation for three days from Paris. It is very touristy but a good base to explore the Rue de Vins. The hotel was excellent. While it is in the heart of the tourist center and thus a bit overwhelming, it is quiet and peaceful inside. We got a room overlooking a courtyard which helped.... More

Colmar is a great city for a short break. Quite aprt from being one of the most picturesque and unspoilt medieval French towns I've been to (with, it must be said, tourist crowds to match), it has some excellent restaurants and shopping. The Unterlinden Musem is currently being refurbished, but several masterpieces (including the Issenheim Retable by Grunewald) have been... More

We are a family that tries to economize when traveling overseas. Maybe that is why we appreciated the St. Martin more than the other properties we stayed at on our recent vacation. It certainly has charm, history and location--which are also important to us. But after a few days in Paris, we were especially grateful for its elevator, ample room... More

Yes, the location is great. The outside of the building is charming. The room was very tired looking. Uncomfortable bed. One bedside lamp bulb had burnt out and the owner had bought the wrong size to go in it. Rather than go get the right size, the wrong one was just left rattling around in the socket. A sure sign...
