It is well located to walk around Colmar and easy to park. Our top room did not have lift access for the top two floors and it was very hard getting luggage in and out, but the view was great but no wifi despite its supposed existance. Yes this was not as expensive as some but the service could have... More

We stayed just one night in "Le Marechal". The hotel is really well located, perfect to visit Colmar, to relax and also to park the car. The building is just beautiful, very old, exceptionally well preserved and nicely decorated all over in the common areas. It is a pleasure to stay there and should be a part of the Colmar... More

This hotel is well located and, in most ways, very charming. The people who work at reception are helpful and gracious, the restaurant looks beautiful but I did not dine there. We had one of the larger bedrooms but it is was still quite small as is the bathroom. The only negative comment is that the hotel seems a bit... More

This hotel is classic and though the single room was quite small, the bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped with modern fixtures and a nice tub. To some the rooms may feel cramped and the interiors outdated, but remember, you're in France and most older or historic hotels aren't going to be very big or trendy. Colmar... More

We stayed one night in their "studio" no 3. It was a dark room, old filthy carpet, very small "bathroom", uncomfortable bed, noicy surroundings. Wouldn't recommend it.. The rooms in the hotel are probably nicer, but also even more expensive and likewise overrated. The breakfast was ok and the location is very good.

Just in the historical area of Colmar, a glorious building facing on the back side the "Little Venice" channel. We have booked an apartment at the rate of € 309,00 per day for two people breakfast inclusive. We have supposed that our room was a propper suite, but it was not, it was simply a large room (we have seen... More

We had an amazing suite at the very top floor... A little challenging since the elevator only goes 1/2 way up but we managed. To get to the room was a winding set of little staircases which made us feel like we were in a secret place. The views from the room were fantastic of Petite Venice. Breakfast was delicious... More

A beautiful building in a nice position overlooking the canal in a nice Alsacienne town with lot's of great buildings and canals etc . The hotel has a lot of character and the common areas serve local drinks etc . I understood the restaurant is excellent but we ate externally . the room I had was very small , Roof... More

This very quaint hotel overlooking the river can deceive your initial response. It oozes with historical charm with narrow corridors and 4 poster beds. It has an excellent restaurant and very friendly and cooperative staff. Some of the rooms are small and there appeared little if any resident lounge areas on our visit. No hotel parking but there is a... More

Almost great, but would have thought the shower could have had an attachment on the wall, instead were forced to squat in a bath holding the shower. The other room we had was perfect. Breakfast a waste of time. No meat or eggs to be seen despite a long list of things supposedly offered. Service average. Just take a short... More
