Friendly and very helpful staff, Nice and quiet spot near the center. We found the breakfast really good with fresh food. Several nice restaurants are near the hotel also. I liked the paintings, the sculptures and the modern furniture. I would definately recommend this hotel!

On my first trip to France, Hotel Boreal was a great find. Hotel room was actually better than the web photos. Conveniently located, nice breakfasts, clean and comfortable. But the staff, particularly on the front desk spoke great English, were incredibly helpful, getting me a bike to ride, making calls in French on my behalf, improving my train travel plans,... More

I wish I could give this hotel a 4.5. Its very nice, but not I only give 5 to the best of the best. Desk staff was delightful. Room was in great shape, comfortable bed, interesting vaulted ceilings on the top floor, internet worked great (unusual in Europe), stairway was finished well (I prefer to take the stairs when they... We stayed 2 nights at Boreal hotel during our business trip. Staff was helpful and offering an umbrella when we were planning afternoon stroll in the cloudy day. Room is clean and modern style. Breakfast are good with simple spread, just try own squeeze fresh orange juice in there. Located in the center of city, but in quite surrounding street,... More

We somehow stumbled on Hotel Boreal (probably from a search on Tripadvisor!), and we were pleasantly surprised. We were in the area to visit museums in Mulhouse, which is a short drive from Belfort, and the chapel in Ronchamp, on the outskirts of Belfort. The hotel is spotless, our room was clean and quiet, and (aside from the magenta accent... More

We stayed at Hotel Boreal for our first ever trip to france . When we arrived , we were welcomed by English speaking staff, so had little trouble getting to know the place . Rooms are nice , clean . A pleasant place to stay - not particularly exceptional, but extremely reasonable. A bit pricy for what you get (we paid over 140 euro per night - which was more than the posted rate, due to an event being in town). Centrally located in Belfort and quiet. Staff is helpful and congenial, although a bit stubborn with special requests (i.e.,... More

Our stay at Hotel Boreal was a sentimental return to Belfort from whence four years ago we had started a 12 day trek through the Jura region. On this occasion it was at the end of our 25 day trek through Les Vosges from Wissembourg in the north. The hotel has maintained its freshness and quality finish and professional, friendly... More

We stayed here at the end of our summer holidays and stayed in the superior double room 305 (list price 120€). The rooms are fairly new, at least there aren't any signs of wear or aging in the usual spots. The wide, gapless french double bed is comfortable and silent. Lighting is plentiful, even LED reading lights at the nightstands,... More

Situated down a quiet residential street. 2 minutes' walk from the train station, 5 mins walk from the old town. Restaurant and creperie across the street. Good points: clean, modern room, fairly spacious, sparkling clean bathroom, separate toilet, extremely good value for money. Airconditioned. Free wifi. Quiet. Staff were so nice - spoke English, were friendly and polite and even... More
