In a wonderful city like Manchester, you can find many good hotels, but this one has much to offer. Liked the entertainment program and wished I tried the movie on demand service. Avoid the Ramada Piccadilly , unless it is for one night only maybe. The smallest 'twin' room in the universe, airconditioning absolutely stifling and not controllable from room. No fridge. Stayed at the Ramada just after New Year and definately found it a pleasent experiance, a large modern hotel in a central location overlooking Piccadilly Gardens. We found the service on arrival quick, friendly and extremely helpful, with offers of help to organise onward travel and city information. Nothing inherently wrong with this hotel, very central location and room had obviously been recently renovated. My major issue was that despite being on the 8th floor, a lot of street noise, shouting from outside etc, could be heard until ~4am on both the nights I stayed.
