The hotel is close to the main attractions in Manchester. That's it's strong point. I had booked a twin room en suite. When I arrived, it was freezing in the room : i was told at the reception that the heat is turned on only after 8pm. The beds had clearly seen better days. Cleanliness could be improved : there... I never really stay in hostels often but since I was traveling alone to Manchester and didn't want to spend £30+ on a hotel being miles from city centre I thought I would give this a try. I booked a bed in a 6 person room even though there were only 5 of us in the room it still felt... More

Stayed here for two nights for our stag party in Manchester. We wanted somewhere clean and decent for us to get our heads down each night. Was perfect for just that. Super location in the northern quarter close to many bars and restaurants. The bunk bed were quite comfy, would of liked a bit bigger cover for the bed but... More

Due to awkward train times to Leeds, myself and three friends decided to book in to the Hilton Chambers after a gig/night out. We paid £17.50 each for bed and breakfast with the four of us sharing a room. The staff were very friendly and everywhere from the main reception to the kitchen (where we met some fellow hostel goers... More

I have stayed in this hostel a number of times over the last few years. Twin room, 6 bed en-suite, 12 bed mixed dorm - all girls and mixed groups, all good experiences. It can be a little noisy on Friday and Saturday nights, but it's hostel. As with any hostel take earplugs! I have felt safe walking back at... More

The wifi connection is very poor! The wifi connection can't reach into the room, bunch of people need to hang around the lobby, the dining room etc just to enjoy their wifi connection which is very absurd. Me and my friend can't even have our dinner in the dining room since the crowded of people enjoying their internet instead of... More

I didn't like that this hostel didn't have any lockers. Their idea of lockers are tiny things in the hallways that maybe you could fit a book in. I also didn't like that the wifi was only in the common areas. This posed a problem as the common areas were too small as everyone there was huddled around in one... More

I stay there for three night. Everything is alright just meet the budget. But one of the staff I met was super rude that just made me feeling bad when stay there. And the communal area is not large enough when everyone used wi-fi there.

I stayed in that hostel for just a night. The location is very good, coach station, and piccadilly station is very close to the hostel. Staff was helpful. Rooms were clean and sleep quality not perfect but good. Toilet and shower was in the same place in the room. Wifi free and many sockets inside the room for everyone. If... More

Location: Located in the Northern Quarter which is very hipster. Near trendy shops, pubs and cafes. I was there on a weekday so it was pretty quiet for me. Transportation: A short walk (5-8 minutes) to the tram station. I came by bus from London and stopped at Shudehill Interchange. It was merely a 10 minute walk. To Manchester Airport,... More
