Well the truth is, not the nicest hotel. I found newspaper in the air vent, must have been keeping the draft out. Few stains on the carpet. But bed wasnt to bad and sheets and towels seemed clean. Didn't pay much to stay here,If you want an over night stay before your holiday and you are on a budget, decent... More

Stayed here for 1 night before catching an early flight. The service was really unfriendly, the rooms were a decent size but very dated and dirty. Beds were really worn and uncomfortable. I asked to borrow a hair dryer from reception but they didn't have any. It is well worth spending a little bit more money for a decent night's... More

We stayed here as a group of friends, we're were meeting in Manchester for a reunion and this was all we could get that weekend. The rooms were clean but very basic, the small bar was ok but expensive. I wouldn't stay again, on the Sunday morning someone ( I presume a member of staff) walked in our room while... More

I have never been tempted to write such a poor review of any hotel. Clean bed. BUT but nothing else was clean, Carpets with gaffer tape on frayed edges. Couldnt believe that the fire door was missing between lift and corridor. One lift couldn't be used to go up as the card reader was broken. It was almost impossible to... More

My family & myself stayed here for one night, before an early morning flight in December. This is my fourth stay at this hotel. The hotel is exactly expected. It is a cheap place to stay before a flight. Yes, the place could do with a refurb. But, it offers good value for money. If I wanted more, I could... More

On arrival to this hotel and to check in the man behind the desk said our card payment never went through and said unless we paid £50 up front we would not be staying there. As we had just came from a 5 hour flight and just wanted to sleep we agreed, and said we would be checking or statements.... More

we needed a room for an early morning flight. reception staff were polite and helpful. Rooms were basic but had a shower and a bed which was all we needed for an overnight stay. . Also recommend the local pub The Romper for meals which is within walking distance The shuttle service was organized the night before and cost us... More

Rooms was sparse and cold and not very clean. Thin quilt and bedding. TV had no remote. Booked this hotel when it was still owned by travelodge and expected the same level of hospitality how wrong we were. Will definitely stay at another hotel next time we travel and suggest you do the same.

Booked this hotel for a stop over before an early flight the next morning, whilst very cheap there is a reason for this. The rooms are dirty mould in bathrooms uncomfortable beds, tv's did not work tea and coffee available in rooms but you wouldn't want to drink from the mugs.

Imagine Pontins run by the East Germans, or a horrible student dorm room. Expect no free shuttle, 7 pounds each way from the airport, no free wifi except in lobby, very soft mattress, no phone in room. 4 miles from airport. We won't use this one again.
