Stayed here several times super location for a night out in Manchester. High lights for us was the huge baths in the rooms and the hot tub on the roof. Cocktails at the bar were not the best but still go down well. Afternoon tea is well worth a try. A little gem of a hotel.

We stayed in room 28 a baby grand room. It was spectacular, large bed, and the bathroom was incredible with a bath for 2 and a walk in shower. The only problem was a loud buzzing noise (possibly a water pump or pipes?) that would unpredictably loudly echo around the whole room for couple of seconds approximately 4x an hour..... More

Hotel recommended by friends who had stayed here before so I booked it for the Wife's Birthday in July. Lovely hotel in a great location which was what I wanted. The Staff were very friendly and most helpful, a real credit to the place. The room was excellent, very clean and well looked after with the Bathroom upstairs. We didn't... More

Went for afternoon tea earlier in the year for Mothers day and the service and food were both excellent. I have lived in Manchester a long time and didn't know about this gem of a hotel on my doorstep. Apparently it was an old school but the way it has been transformed is spectacular. Unusual decor, quirky rooms etc.so I... More

The Wedding of my daughter at the Greta John Street hotel was amazing and certainly one of the highlights of my life so far. The old victorian school converted into this eclectic and chic hotel obviously makes it a very desirable wedding venue. Even though access was a little difficult, partly due to it being "Pride" weekend this didn't detract... More

The most fabulous hotel in the city with a wonderful cocktail bar on the roof complete with jacuzzi. The bedrooms are just darling think enormous white sleigh bed and his and hers roll top baths side by side . Breakfasts cooked from scratch before your very eyes. Wonderful chandeliers . Glorious afternoon teas and the very best cocktails in town.... More

We got married here last weekend and were pleased when people kept telling us what a great place for a wedding this would be. The reality was much better though as the team made the weekend run so smoothly. The staff are all friendly and made the wedding feel very personal rather than it being just another wedding they were... More

Four of us visited this hotel ( directly opposite the entrance to the Coronation Street Tour) today for our pre-booked champagne Afternoon tea ( served from noon onwards) which we took on the rooftop terrace due to the fine weather. Having had many afternoon teas all over England and Wales over the years I can only say that this one... More

We stayed here for a cheeky overnight date night and really enjoyed our stay. Location is good with easy walking distance to bars, shops and restaurants. Although a pricey place we did manage to get a deal on a late room which made it a little more reasonable. Room was good size with the bathroom upstairs and very nicely decorated.... More
