My dad and I went here for Sunday lunch today. We used a Frugaloo voucher which entitled us to Sunday lunch for two for £7.00. We live close by, but didn't realise this place existed. Well, what a surprise. It's a lovely hotel, a bit dated, but set in fantastic grounds. We didn't see the rooms, but the bar was... More

Tucked away in what feels like a park in the center of Manchester, rooms are very, very small, but quiet. Weird breakfast set up, the usual luke warm buffet, but served to you by a waiter standing behind the counter, who glared at you if you asked for two sausages! Can't really complain as it was really cheap. Can someone... More

We have stayed at Chancellors Hotel a number of times, and even got married here this summer. Have had a good experience and service generally in the past. Have had problems however with the showers a few times. Went for New years eve and my now husband had a shower. There are signs warning about hot water, so he dutifully... More

Stayed or two nights and came out back and blue. Bend over to pick up a sock you hit your bum, go to the loo and squeeze thru the smallest door I have ever seen and then wonder why there is so much room in the public areas outside the room which are not used and so little in the... More

I stayed for two nights in December whilst attending a course/exams at the Armitage Centre across the road. Easy to find and just next to Fallowfield - plenty of restaurants/coffee shops/Sainburys. I had a single room which was small but had everything you needed and very clean. Lots of hot water and good shower over the bath. Some noise from... More

We stayed at Chancellors hotel for a event at University of Manchester during weekday. Value for Money - Clean rooms and convenient location. But rooms are small in size and far away from reception with long winding corridors. Rooms were warm and had to shut down the heating. Good Full English Breakfast. Staff courteous and willing to help. More

I stayed at Chancellors for 1 night during November when I traveled to Manchester for business. The hotel was a little hard to find, due to the fact that the GPS takes you to a barrier from where you can actually see the hotel but in order to get to it you have to go around with your car. We... Just back from this hotel... although in nice surroundings the room was absoluely tiny, lucky if there was 1 foot round the bed to walk, squeeze past in! Shower was fantastic. The breakfast however was fab. Hotel bar quite pricey £3.50-4 for a vodka, burger was £12 approx, although quite tasty. More

stayed just the one night with husband both in our 40's . The receptionist Jade was extremely helpful, friendly and a delight to meet. We decided to have dinner in the restaurant even though the local area outside the hotel is swarming with restaurants and bars and were delighted with the food on offer in the evening it was made...
