Me and a friend stayed at the Arora for two nights in July. We got a great price and couldn't be happier with the room and the staff that were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, within walking distance from Piccadilly station and all the central sights in Manchester. China town with great food is strictly speaking around... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Arora for one night in June. We got a bargain as I booked it as one of Lastminute’s ‘secret’ hotels. It was easy to find from Piccadilly station and the staff were fantastic on arrival! We got there before our room was ready and the receptionist eagerly told us which way to go... more

Booked into the Arora for the weekend as we were having a shopping trip combined with a concert. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We had been upgraded to a Premier King room, which was perfect, spaceous and light. Hotel is right opposite the Art Gallery, a few minutes walk from the main shopping areas and some great restaurants nearby. Obsidian... more

Having stayed in this hotel in both November for a friends birthday and June for a concert, I felt the need to write about how good this hotel is. The staff are always friendly and helpful, providing maps and directions of where to go. The rooms are amazing, with two double beds, a plush bathroom (where you can still listen... more

Booked last minute for 4 (3 plus child) got a nice surprise for £98 for a double bed x 2 bedroom. Beds really comfy. Hotel very near town. The only thing we were'nt too keen on were the food prices and cocktail prices. Went to Wetherspoons for breakfast at a 10th of the price! more

We were offered a complimentary upgrade to a bigger room on the ground floor behind reception as my husband has difficulty walking far. We didnt find... more

This was a very comfortable stay; the hotel is central which makes access to coffee shops, shopping, restaurants and city attractions easy. It was well located for the Bupa run; within 2 - 3 minutes of the start line! All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. We booked the hotel via the internet and also had quick... more

Stayed only 1 night while we attended a football match and concert in Manchester. (2 rooms for 2 couples). This hotel was just excellent, certainly the best value we have had in Manchester, and I have stayed in at least a dozen. Ideally situated, close to city centre and Chinatown. 15 minutes walk from the MEN, and an easy journey... more
