This place is a fairly bog standard Ibis Budget set up. Location is fine - about 10 minutes walk from the Northern Quarter and around 5 minutes to the nearest tram stop. We paid £26 for a twin room which is outstanding value. No frills - 2 single beds, seperate shower and toilet, and a TV. I wouldn't fancy sharing... More

we arrived in Manchester at midnight and walked guide by gmaps to the hotel. Near the picadilly train station. The location is right in the corner of the street and very easy to find. The reception are friendly and give us easy way for check in. Room is clean, double bed with extra top bed (which is extra top bed... More

Beds were rock hard, no carpet on floor, no kettle, shower cubicle within bedroom affording no privacy, also washbasin in bedroom. Very small window, However, staff were helpful and pleasant and everywhere was clean.

We got the room for a great low price. We wanted something simple and clean and affordable. This is what we got. Friendly staff - significantly satisfying breakfast! Doable walk to the CBD and close the the main train station. The room was basic - but functional and exactly what we wanted for low budget trouble. Clean ++ and practical... More

Stayed here recently and definately NOT the worst place in the world. The room was perfect for the 2 of us. A spotless room with clean bedding and towels, a tv and air-conditioning and free Wi-fi. What other 2* hotel has free air-con and Wifi?? The staff were all very polite, courteous and very helpful. Breakfast was continental and everything... More

Fortunatley thats all it was for. yes the room was clean, but so basic, does IBIS stand for itsy bitsy idle service? Had i paid the £28 for a basic room that would have been acceptable, but £130 for two nights was steep. The room is less than a prison cell really, if you are a large person you will... More

I stayed here with my partner in January for 3 nights. It was great value for 2 people so I was a bit skeptical when I arrived. The staff at reception were so friendly and recommended places for us to visit during our stay. Our room was brightly coloured lime and white and unbelievably clean. We had a large, very... More

I know its a budget hotel but come on , i would expect tea and coffee in every hotel i stay in. Did not bother with the continental breakfast (not included) as their is a very good... More
