Me and my mate used this place for the second time on 8th November whilst in town for a football match. We found the staff in the hotel very polite & friendly and they let us check in early which was very handy as we were in a rush. The bar/club downstairs is perfect for enjoying a few cheap drinks... After none of the bar staff seemed to understand how to check us in; and seemed genuinely surprised that the hostel even existed we managed to check in to our room. The lift smelt like someone had died in it and the flickering lights would have been more at home on the set of a horror film. In our room... More

I Stay for 2 nights on a football weekend, and for the price I payed I expected a little bit rough and ready. Very cheap ! But this place is Grimm ! 8 men squeezed into 1 tiny room, in bunk beds designed for children. The bar was a sticky dirty mess from start to finish. And forget about sleep... More

Drank here Saturday and Sunday. Bar staff looked after us very well. Good music Saturday but place was dead on Sunday. Good was good, well priced and arrived quickly. Good venue to watch all your sports on all the TVs they have.

Worse hotel I've ever stayed in, not a good greeting when the carpet is filthy. On arriving into your room, the blinds done close and are all broke, the windows barely close. This place really is faulty towers. The worse hotel I've ever stayed in! Then you use the shower, and the curtain doesn't meet the end so bathroom floods,... More

It's the worst hotel or hostel ever!! The bunk bed stairs are broken, there are not window curtains in every room and the bathroom and toilets are super awful!! The whole hotel is super smelly and when we responsed to the receptionist, she said they're closing down that's why they charged so cheap. We check out and demand a refund... More

The first two floors is a pub/nightclub, so expect loud music till 3 AM. The bed sheets were clean, but the mattress was horrible, the carpet was absolutely disgusting and the bath wasn't very clean either. There was virtually no reception, you had to go to the pub to ask for someone to give you your key cards. the only... More

We crashed here after a festival and wouldn't want to stay another night. Even though we were on top floor, it was still noisy and windows or blinds wouldn't shut. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. If you're young, just want a bed for the night and somewhere which is cheap then this is the... More

I stayed here with one friend for a long weekend in July 14. We had a triple room and was just two of us as one person pulled out. It's cheap as chips, was the cheapest place we could find and for 3 nights it turned out at about £50 per person. The staff at reception when we checked in... More

It was the "State of Origin" and we expected the Walkabout to be showing it as it is the only Australian inn and being patriotic they would have shown it. NO. We rang and they advised "No we are not showing it. If they draw today we'll show the final". Well guess what, NSW beat Qld for the first time... More
