We have stayed in many hotels in Manchester, but this is by far the best! From check in to check out out everthing was seamless, the staff were excellent and could not have been more helpful. The location is great, right in the heart of the city. The breakfast is second to none. We would certainly stay here again, and have... More

If you plan to stay during the football season then don't. The hotel could not cope with the Swansea City football team staying. The other guest were made to feel like second class citizens. 15 minutes wait just to be seated for breakfast. Breakfast service was awful. Rude staff, cold tea and toast and dirty glasses. Complained and was told... More

I stayed here for one night after a night out as I did not want to be searching for taxis on my own in the early hours. I opted for a city view room which was of a decent size with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom has a good design with more room than most hotel offerings. Storage space... More

Stayed here for our 10th wedding anniversary and must say we loved it. By far the nicest hotel we've stayed in. Great location, fantastic building, brilliant staff overall fantastic hotel. We didn't eat at the hotel because the location of the hotel was so good we wanted to explore the massive local area but the meal looked fantastic. The spa... More

We loved this hotel!!!!!! Worthy of all it's 5 stars. We stayed on 28th August for one night with breakfast included. The staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful and attentive. Opus One bar for cocktails was amazing, beautifully made and a lovely bar area. We ate in the Steak & Lobster restaurant which was lovely - unlimited fries and salad with... More

This is the second time we've stayed here to go to concerts in Manchester. The location is great for all sorts of venues a well as being so close to the restaurants and shops. Rooms are great with a full bathroom and all the facilities you could want are on site. Didn't eat in this time but had the Steak... More

We have stayed here twice and love the place. It's near to Oxford Road train station, many bars, restaurants and the casino. Considering you can stay here for less than £100 per night it is luxury. The staff cannot not do enough for you at this hotel. The décor is modern and it all feels new, fresh and well maintained.... More

I've stayed twice now for business and tell all my colleagues to book here when they're in Manchester. It's stylish and spacious with excellent service and a choice of lovely relaxed bars. I can't comment on the food as I always venture out to meet colleagues but it's central position makes it easily accessible for the city. Parking is expensive... More

My husband and I stayed one night as a special 70th birthday gift from our children. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and when we arrived in our room a bottle of champagne and mini chocolate cakes with strawberries was waiting for us with the compliments of the hotel, we decided to have an afternoon drink in the Opus...
