We booked a deluxe king room directly with the hotel, but then found it cheaper on a different site...the hotel matched the price plus another 25%... More

My mother in law paid for us to have afternoon tea here and it was a lovely afternoon. Choices of either traditional or gentleman's tea - we opted for the latter because it offered hot Yorkshire puddings, fish and chips and pork pie (coz we' re greedy!). Fre Iendly service and lovely food - highly recommended!

Lovely hotel ideally situated for exploring manchester. Excellent helpful staff. My only criticism was the room was too hot and I couldn't turn the temperature down lower than 18.0 degrees and there were no complimentary biscuits in the room.

This is a lovely hotel where all the staff are really helpful and the the rooms were spacious and clean . There are 2 restaurants to cater for all tastes and budgets and I have used both and can recommend. The location is superb for all the restaurants and main shopping areas
