Great location, with easy access off the A56 approach road. 5-10 minute walk to city centre which is ideal, easy access to venues, bars but far enough away not to be bothered by nightime noise. Very friendly professional staff. Highly recommended.

Easy to get to and plenty of parking nearby. Friendly staff quick resolve of a noise problem (Room 502) with the lifts drumming loudly in the room. Room changed quickly and much better. Pleasant, clean and comfortable. Breakfast good and as it says as much as you want. Suited my needs for a one night stay. Relatively close to city... More

If you are about to book this hotel, be aware that they do not store your luggage. So if you are arriving in the morning and leaving in the evening, just bring a rucksack, you will understand this was the best decision you ever took. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, but even in the worst bed and breakfast in... More

We arrived in the Travelodge Manchester Ancoats from the Manchester airport at about 1:00am, only to find that the hotel was overbooked and our prepaid room is unavailable. We got some complimentary beverages and were taken by taxi to Travelodge Manchester Sportcity hotel - with lower quality bedrooms. In the morning taxi took us back to Ancoats, where our room... More

What is there to really say about a Travelodge? You just can't argue with them, they are like the Ryan Air of hotels but without having to give up all of the things you might actually want. Clean room, comfortable beds, good price, great location. At £53 it's a lot cheaper to drive into Manchester, have a night out and... More

The Hotel looks fresh and new and the beds were comfortable but if you stay here make sure you don't have a room facing the main road. The traffic is nonstop due to the fact that the main road also links to several motorway networks. So, there is a constant stream of cars, trucks, Vans. HGV's. motorbikes etc... you name... More

I booked a family room for me and my mate to crash out after The Jim Jones Revue gig at Sound Control. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and airy. I had the small bed which was comfortable. The hotel is a short walk from Piccadilly Station. Traffic noise was low despite the room facing the... More

I have stayed at Travelodges all over the UK. This one has the usual bar/dining area but it's the bedrooms where this one wins me over. Newly decorated and refurbished, the old fashioned poorly fitted rooms usually associated with Travelodges have gone and it feels more like a Premier Inn. Much better! The staff are superb here;always smiling and extremely... More

Had stayed previously so booked the hotel again this time through alpharooms. When we arrived we were told there was a mix up between alpharooms and travelodge on our room booking, we booked a family but hotel were advised it was a double. It was my brother and I so we had hoped for separate beds. The receptionist did all... More

Immediate area is not the best but in a good location being 30 seconds from junction of Oldham Street. Its about a 5 min walk to the northern quarter and about 5-10 to Piccadilly Gardens. Rooms basic but in a good condition. Breakfast facilities and bar is fine. Staff friendly. Recommended
