A good central hotel, ideal for shopping and manchesters night life. Everywhere was clean and all staff helpful and cheery. Can't comment on the food or the bar, as the hotel literally was somewhere for the 12 of us to sleep and get ready. Wouldn't hesitate to use this hotel again if going with a group of friends.

Two couples stayed Friday night 11th for a convenient location to attend a party nearby. We expected the usual impersonal, slightly shabby experience. What a surprise to be greeted with personality and care. The receptionist could not have been more helpful. The rooms were both Serviceable and comfortable. The receptionist on Saturday morning gave service worthy of more expensive establishments.... More

This is the third time we have stayed at the Ancoats Travelodge. It's located a five minute walk away from Picadilly train station and the shopping centre. We use this hotel as a base to go exploring Manchester and have stayed here for visits to Old Trafford, Etihad Stadium, shopping centre, Media City & the arena. However, our third visit... More

For the very cheap price I paid this was a good place to choose ( I had switched to Premier inn after a few bad travelodge visits). 5mins from city center. Room was warm and although outdated it was warm and clean. The corridors and backstairs are in need of cleaning/freshening up. I'm giving an extra star for two wonderful,... More

I booked the Travelodge for a hen do party (9 rooms). It was exactly what we needed in terms of rooms and locations. I had had issues with the booking prior to arrival and rang and spoke to someone who happily sorted out my problem. On arrival the reception staff chatted me through the check in process and assisted me... More

We stayed here for a hen weekend. 15 of us. The prices were really very reasonable and it was all very straight forward to book online. It's not luxury but the hotel is clean and does the job. The beds were a little lumpy, maybe time for the mattresses to be renewed? It's looking a little worn out. The sofa... More

Stayed here as I was attending man utd champions league quater final. I usually stay in the travelodge in salford which is excellent but was no availability. Reception staff were fine. Early check in wasn't a problem. Got to room and it was old to say the least. Bed was lumpy, window wouldn't close properly so couldn't really sleep. This... More

I stay in Travelodges a lot at the moment as I'm travelling around for work. They're generally cheap, clean and do the job if you just want a bed for the night. This one was good with really friendly staff. I asked for a room on the top floor at the back, so it was pretty quiet at night. The... More

My best friend from Rome came to visit me on 8th March for 2 days. I made a reservation stay at this hotel because it is near the city centre. After a lot of walking, having the hotel nearby made our stay even more convenient. I stayed in quite a few Travelodge hotels in the past (my previous one was... More

Our hotel was easy to find and looked welcoming from the outside. On arrival the self check in was broken and we had to join a long queue to get into our room (obviously couldn't be helped!) Our check in was fine and when we got to our room we were surprised at how small it was after we have... More
