Stayed here for a wedding. The reception was very good including a good value appetizing hot meal. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Room clean and good value.Having read some of the reviews find it hard to understand what people expect from a 3 star hotel. more

Sewage leaking from the manhole at the entrance should have told us to go elsewhere immediately, but we were joining other family members who were staying here. In fact,... more

Stayed here for 1 night before a family funeral in the area. Supposedly a 4 Star hotel - I don't know how. Tired and shabby 70s decor, one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in and disinterested staff. Had to walk up to reception after getting ready for bed to ask for 2 more pillows (surely 2 pillows... more

We booked the hotel through last minute.com and paid £50 for one night. First impressions were good driving up to the lodge and once inside, the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We checked in and were given the key to our room, number 118. The rooms are not clearly signposted and the directions given by reception were not... more

The bar food is good and good value. The room is however dirty. The dressing table still have dry drops of drink on it but the worst is the shower. It got black mold everywhere, shower tray's also black for lack of cleaning if at all, extractor didn't work either. more
