We were visiting family in the area and booked this hotel at the last minute and got very good value for money. All of the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Our stay included breakfast which was very good. The only thing I didn't like was the coffee and tea wasn't served to the table it was in thermal... More

The main thing this place has is availability. The food is usually quite good, and reasonably priced although breakfast this time was unexpectedly poor. The rooms remain cupboard-sized, unheated, and without facilities for charging a phone or plugging in a laptop. The shower is a joke, just a nozzle over the toilet. The internet mostly works, though, if you go... More

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Actually it is really just a few outdated rooms stuck on the side of a smart looking swimming pool and gym, even areas of the leisure facility leave a lot to be desired. The room itself had no heating and there was a draught from the window. They brought an... More

We had a business meeting on a cold day in January. Firstly, the car park hardly had any spaces despite being quite large for a hotel of its size. I later discovered that this is due to the popular gym facilities- they obviously do classes and everyone arrives by car. Bear this in mind if you've got cases as you... More

My boyfriend booked this hotel for a Valentine's treat for us over the weekend. We had two nights at the hotel and I wouldn't fault it. The room was a tad small, but for both of us it was an ideal size. It was extremely clean and tidy and the cleaners visited the next day, so it was kept in... More

Unlike many hotels that have a leisure centre in addition to the accommodation, this one has some accommodation attached to a gym and pool. The room was pretty awful - dated furniture, a headboard for twins behind a double bed and a cheap and nasty feel to it all. The fan in the bathroom didn't work and there was consequently... More

Stayed here last Saturday as there was a family wedding there. Booked in and the staff was very helpful and as we had a 7 week old baby they help bring our bags to the room. On entry to the room we found the main light in the room did not work. We later found out that the light switch... More

Oh dear what a disaster this hotel is. Rooms are badly designed and in desperate need of a refurbishment or even better knock the place down and start again. Breakfast was disgraceful. I don't have a cooked breakfast so had the delights of their buffet. This consisted of horrid tinned fruits, no granola or muesli based cereals ( cornflakes, cocopops,... More

I don't know when the pictures were taken but don't be fooled ! you will be greeted with a scruffy exterior entrance and it does not get better when inside. All they are interested in is the leisure side of the business. My room (305 if you want to stay clear) had everything running off an extention lead including the... More
