Check in staff were busy but despite this were friendly and helpful. Double room was clean and shower worked well. Plenty of free parking on site. Easy to find . Breakfast adequate but for 5 pounds good value. Only complaint is that the sound insulation between rooms is poor. You can clearly hear voices. Overall a decent budget hotel and... More

Stayed here as part of a trip with National Holidays for 1 night Bed, breakfast and evening meal. On arrival we were met by a rather abrupt receptionist who just asked us to sign in and passed us a keycard. We were on the 2nd floor but thank goodness we weren't on the 1st as the corridors had a horrible... More

Rooms cleaner than expected but the "pallentine restaurant" is a joke. Very busy but waiting on staff seem oblivious to the dirty tables, chairs and floors. Bread is white sliced or nothing. Tomato soup ...watered, tasteless and when I complained to the manager was told the chef had been asked (when other people complained) to add salrt and pepper. Unfortuantely... More

Staff were very nice. Room was ok, a little shabby but not terrible. For the price it was acceptable. The lift was broken but we were only on the first floor. Bar staff very happy and helpful. The hotel is in a good stop. The hotel Shuttle was £5 self arranged taxis are £10. Little noise from the airport when... More

We stayed 25/8/15 before flying abroad with a combined room and parking deal. Having paid in advance fully for parking and the room we came home to a parking fine for using the hotel car park, This was dealt with by the Hotel for us but it took nearly two weeks and for this time we had a £100 parking... Really good, cheap hotel. Food is good overall. It's all you can eat, and breakfast is yummy. Fruit, bacon, eggs, toast ect Asked for extra milk and tea bags for room. We were left loads! Nothing was a trouble. Hotel is quiet but roads very close are noisy. Police everywhere with noisy sirens. Beds are ok but very small. Shower... More

I booked the hotel on line at around 8.30pm on the same evening as my husband and I were attending his mums 70th birthday party not far from the hotel and I decided to have a drink and it was cheaper than getting a taxi home. We didn't get to the hotel till around 2am but checked in fairly quickly... More

The location is fine for hotel as there is a shuttle service that is not included in price of room or parking!!! Hotel is very shabby and old and needs some TLC.Restaurant very tired and old food not great and menu choice is terrible. Staff are lovely and try to make the best of a bad job.
