One overnight stay - never to be repeated. Our room smelt awful, carpets filthy, bath stained and a black pair of ladies knickers left slung over the shower rail! Don't go there.

Overall, for its location to the airport, its a fair hotel. The reception is small and old, its a fairly busy place, but could with a makeover. Located coveniently for Manchester Airport, it really needs some time spending on it. The bar area obviously was revamped some 10 years ago, the dining room lacked a little ambience, but for the... I stayed here for one night .......before an early morning flight........check-in was a bit slow as only one person on reception which is why the overall rating was very good and not excellent! Very pleasant welcome and an apology for the delay on checking in.Solo traveler so had booked a club room which was spotlessly clean and everything worked......toiletries in... More

I stayed there just for a night on my way to Manchester Airport so as to get some rest before catching my early morning flight back home. Having read all these reviews, I hesitated a bit, but I finally thought "what the heck, how horrible it can be for 1 night?" The price was very good, the airport was near... More

Where to start? My wife and i only wanted a hotel room overnight so we could watch tv, have some dinner, sleep, shower then go on our long haul flight. we were at least able to go on our flight i guess. We got to the room and the tv didn't work. not a huge problem, reported it and went... More

This was bad even for 30 quid a night...couldn't find the booking, double bed even though twin beds were booked and requested on arrival at reception. Room looked 20 yrs out of date. I think the family across the hall were DSS residents, nice to hear a baby screaming when we arrived at midnight after 17 hrs at work. Went... More

Booked this in March for a one nighter out of the brochure on our way to the Dominican Republic without any research and purely on price. The staff at reception were unreal - they did not do the normal things like welcome, eye contact, smile etc. etc. They were heads down, slow and spoke in low mumbles which we largely... More

Just back after 4 nights at this Hotel on a coach holiday. Don't believe all the bad reviews as this hotel offers very good VALUE FOR MONEY. You tend to get what you pay for !It was by and large clean, the bedrooms were spacious and clean (little mould round bedroom windows) with an adequate over bath shower with plenty... More

Building is a eyesore, should be knocked down. Room stank of drains when I opened the door. Mould all over ceiling, broken bath tiles, carpet stains. Beds hugely uncomfortable. Next to motorway so very noisy. White vans blocking up the car park. Went out for dinner (thank god!) so only had breakfast. Breakfast gross. Fried eggs must have in the... More
