I stayed in one of the two bedroomed apartments and was very pleasantly surprised. Considering the very reasonable cost I expected it to be rather basic but this wasn't the case. The apartment was clean, comfortable, modern and the kitchen was very well stocked even down to milk in the fridge to go with the variety of teas and coffees.... More

This hotel is an excellent location. We booked the 3 person apartment (1double and a single) to be fair the price was very good. However the place is VERY run down! The ironing board was broken, Lots of wall damage, sockets were unsafe with screws falling out, water damage in bathroom, sharp broken soap dish in shower.... Much much more.... More

Another Tripadvisor booking fell through and the letting agent booked us here for 4 adults...we arrived to find only 3 beds and a sofa bed, no towels, not enough bedding, not enough dining chairs, got an electric shock from the bathroom cupboard, no one ever at reception...this is an appalling place pretending to be 4 star

I booked a room by email and phone for a colleague. I was paying so both names were on the email. We turned up but the front door was locked and no one was around. Then we saw a note directing us to the tearooms next door. We waited ten minutes for the manager to finish dealing with a customer... More

So nearly very good. Great location, helpful and friendly staff, clean, not too pricey and plenty of room. So far away from it because everywhere is soooo tired. The bathroom we used was crumbling, both sofa bed and chair were broken and the decor needed a refresh. For me, on business, it was easy to overlook these things (although I... More

Stayed here recently with a group of friends and we had 3 apartments . The apartments are in a fantastic location, right n the centre of the city. I have to agree with the reviews here in such that the apartments really are in need of maintenance. While the bedrooms and sitting room/kitchenette were perfect and very clean/comfortable the bathroom... More

The first time I had stayed here. The hotel itself isn't in a bad location given it's on the edge of the city centre. However, the parking is not on site but roughly 4-5 minutes away at a local NCP. The hotel itself has functional but now tired apartments. The website says fully refitted in 2012 but it looks like... More

We have stayed in the Central Blue Rainbow apartments before and have always been more than impressed with the quality, so as these were unavailable this time we had no hesitation in selecting the High Street apartments instead. However, I have to say we were more than a little disappointed. We booked two apartments and both had the same issues,... More

This place has gone downhill, and compares unfavourably with their other place near Deansgate where I've stayed before. The parking is not onsite but is in a garage around the corner and it is a real faff getting the ticket validated (if you paid for parking make sure they validate it properly - we got back to the car park... Visited Manchester for the Maroon 5 concert, stayed in the apartments for two nights, room 311. Upon arrival there was no answer to open the door to reception, you require a card to enter or be buzzed in. Went next door to Tea 4 2, waited over five minutes to be seen. The staff behind the bar made eye contact... More
