Jonathon on reception has excellent customer service skills he was fantastic, Was at the top of the hotel with children who would not use a lift! so that was a bit of a killer! you cannot smoke in them at all or risk a fine of up too £150 although the corridor stunk of weed!

We stayed one night at this hotel, I dont think I could stay another. The reception staff are very friendly especially the guy with the glasses, he is very informative and would help you in any way he could. The room was quite dated, faced the Parrs Wood bowling alley, above the Bell House underneath so was a bit noisy.... More

I left a piece of jewellery behind and when I phoned the receptionist knew my voice and informed me it was there with her and we arranged for its... More

A lot of traffic noise at night. For two hours from 11pm until 1am it was like being in a scene from "The Bill". The hotel is nice enough and comfortable, next door to a two for one pub, leisure and cinema facilities, and a Tesco's across the road. There is also a Wetherspoons five minutes walk away. The downfall... More

Myself and my family booked 2 family rooms to stay in Manchester as we were flying on holiday early the next morning. Although we were only there till early morning I couldn't believe that the room was so dirty. I found empty cans of archers and lemon behind the curtains, we had no form of hand soap to wash with... Stayed 1 night with 2 friends to attend a Human League concert at the O2 Apollo. Room was as you'd expect from a travelodge a bit basic but reasonably clean. O2 Apollo was approx four miles away and cost around £14 each way in a taxi. Loads of places to eat as its situated on the Parrs wood entertainment park.... More

I recently stayed at the Didsbury Travel Lodge. We had a great sysy as it was ideally located close to restaurants and Manchester city center. The rooms was comfortable and clean, or so we thought. On the final night we found bits of old bacon under the childs travel bed. It was most certainly not ours as we ate breakfast... More

Pricing for Saturday night was over £80 , cheaper for Friday and Sunday , but the quality of this hotel does not come close to £80 per night . Large room , but furniture had been removed , to leave double bed and loads of floor space.Only one chair.Carpet was not of the sort you would walk on without shoes.Only... More

Stayed one night on 15 November. Very convenient for tram (across the road) into Manchester City Centre for concerts etc. Situated adjacent to an entertainment complex with plenty of restaurants on the main road. 24hr Tesco across the road. People said this hotel was dated but it isn't. It is a new build and very comfortable with everything you need... More
