Stayed here in March 2012. Reasonable location, although getting into the car park is a bit complicated and not that well signposted. Good free parking. Lift not working when I was there which meant a climb, with suitcase, up three floors. Not suitable for most people, and impossible for disabled. Needs another lift as one is clearly not enough. Couldn't... More

Very convenient for the airport (10 minutes away). Located just off a main road in a complex which includes 10 pin bowling, cinema, restaurants and bars etc. Free parking. The hotel itself is very basic with no facilities apart from a vending machine. The room was quite good but could have done with a deep clean in the bathroom. Bed... More

I stayed here on my own as visiting friends in hospital and I feel this is the worse travelodge I have ever stayed in. The room was tired and worn - and so were the sheets! My bed sheet had a worn our hole right in the middle of it. There were short curly hairs in the bath and o... More

I booked this hotel for somewhere to stay before an early flight from Manchester. Reading some of the reviews here made me nervous about staying here, but it was all a rather pleasant experience. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable and staff friendly. Plus at £19 great value for money. More

As we had an early flight, we chose this hotel as it is close to the railway station to get us to the airport for 7am. After a 5 minute walk from the station, we were checked in within 30 seconds and didn't receive the hard sell for a breakfast like you get in some Travelodges. The lift wasn't working... More

Stayed here on a great deal, paid £12 for a family room. Hotel is fairly modern, but shows some signs of wear and tear. Located in the Parrswood complex so ideal for cinema, bowling, eating, drinking...The newly opened Weatherspoons across the road is excellent. Don't bother with the pub attached next door, it is VILE. Sticky tables, thumbprints on glasses... More

Stayed here with my husband on a family visit. it's part of something called the Parrs Wood complex with a cinema, bowling alley and various restaurants all within walking distance and plenty of buses even on a Sunday morning! Check in was fine the guy was very friendly and apologised for the fact that the lift was once again broken!... More

I had stayed at the Hotel once before and booked again for a 1 night stay. The chap on reception was very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately for us we were booked into a room on the 3rd floor and the lift was out of order, was not impressed!! Rooms are very basic but seem clean. We were booked into a... More

I booked this hotel, with the helpful + friendly lady, on reception, on the actual day, in December 2011, and managed to get a room for £54.00, with my debit card, and I thought this was a very good price, for on the day booking, if I booked in advance, I probably would have got it cheaper, but I hadn't... A few pointers if you go - take your own pillows, don't expect any heating and don't eat in the pub next door! A short walk into Didsbury though means a wider choice of food or a train journey into Manchester from the station opposite means an even better choice. Its fine if you pay £15 for the room but...
