The entrance down a back alley is a bit off putting but once upstairs it is quite acceptable. We found the toilets and showers to be clean and working well. There has been a lot of new decoration, new carpets and furniture so perhaps an real attempt to address older reviews. Don't skip the breakfast as the room is bright... More

Book this hotel for one night £75 as myself and friends were stayng. It is worse than fawlty towers, broken windows, dirty room, dirty shower, mould on walls in corridors, all fire doors open, dirty knickers under the bed, hair in the shower more of a knocking shop than a hotel. Did not even dare stay for breakfast in case... More

My friend and I made a last minute decision to have a night out in Manchester! We found this hotel via booking.com for a very reasonable price, it was a double room with "shower room" We took that as en-suite as the word "room" usually means it's a space surrounded by walls... We arrived at 10.35pm, walked down a dark,... More

Me and my boyfriend decided on a last minute city break to Manchester and unfortunately this was the only hotel with vacancies. We thought we caught a bargain for £43 (paid for via booking.com) however, once we arrived we were immediately disappointed. The hotel is situated down a back alley which makes you feel unsafe when walking down on a... More

Please do not make the same mistake and stay here just because of the price!! I have never ever left a review before, and stayed in hundreds of hotels (some good, some bad). But this I have to warn other people as I wouldn't wish my worst enemies to stay in this dump. I am now covered in bed bug... More

If you think the reviews are harsh...they aint!...It's a dump of no comparison. The place stinks, the staff are rude, we had no bog roll or towels and when I went to reception there was no one there...or even in the building. I found my own toiletries by searching the various dirty back rooms until I found them myself. The pillow...singular...... More

Booked through a different site. Wish I had read these first. You have to enter the hotel down an alley. So the first thing we saw was a homeless man standing next too the door going to the toilet against the wall, Which explains the smell of the hotel. The second thing we noticed were a small group of people... More

This hotel should be closed down as a health hazard!! We stayed here for 1 night as all other hotels in Manchester were full. From the second we walked in I just wanted to leave as soon as possible. We got to the room and I immediately got on my phone to start looking for any other hotel option but... More

I stayed here with a friend, although the location was great the hotel was appalling! If we hadnt had drinks we would of drove the 5.5 hours home! Filthy!! The manager was very rude and threatened us. I would rather sleep rough than sleep here do not stay here!!!!!! Even if your young just going out drinking and want somewhere... More

Stayed here for 3 nights last resort, I would have preferred to sleep in a bin truck. It's a dump and no matter how urgent it is to find accommodation DO NOT STAY HERE. Dirty, smelly, horrible staff basal outlay nothing good about it. Wouldn't leave my dog there. Should be shut down immediately.
