Stayed at the Novotel in July 2014. The hotel is located in China town in the centre of Manchester. (Just off Portland Street). The price we paid was very good - around £50 a night on a Friday and Saturday. The hotel was fairly modern, clean and decent sized bedrooms. All the usual ammentities. Location wise it was spot on.... More

This hotel is nicely situated in the city centre. The staff are friendly and courteous. The lobby is sparse but efficient with complimentary wifi & computers. The rooms however are a whole other matter. The executive rooms have been renovated and are quite nice however if you're not lucky enough to get one you are left with the dregs of... More

We checked into this hotel on my birthday on August 15th. When we arrived I was met by a very friendly gentleman behind the desk who kindly informed me that a family member had rung up that morning and told the hotel that it was my birthday. I was then upgraded, free of charge to the Deluxe suit, to my... More

I stayed at this hotel prior to going on an early flight from manchester airport. I wanted to stay in the city and take a train to the import in the morning. This was an excellent choice, I have stayed at the neighbouring ibis, but anted to treat myself before my break. The check in was a breeze, and room... More

Convenient for China Town, the Gay Village and having a car park underground make this a Manchester favourite. Book an executive room, the mattresses are more comfortable. Bit cheeky charging for the water in the mini bar fridge.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was my first time using my Le Club Accor card and I must say the room difference by booking direct is signifigant. I got a great room close to the elevator on the first floor. The hotel is in a great central location and close to the Metrolink for exploring the... More

I stayed 1 night with work. The hotel is situatuated near china town and all the great resturants there. The hotel was clean, contemporary and the room was in good condition, much the same as any good Novotel hotel. The bed was average, i've slept in worse but slept in many better. Bar area was pleasant and the breakfast had a... More

Stayed at this hotel for one night. Good location - central to most things. Perfectly clean and tidy. Few frills, but suited me fine. Only negative was the bed. The mattress was more like a futon i.e. no "give" and very hard. Seems to be a common thing up north! I understand the beds are shortly to be renewed -... More

I stayed at the Novotel in Glasgow a few months ago, but I think this one is even better. It's located in Chinatown, which is a lovely area full of restaurants and bars. We were in Manchester for An Evening With Sylvester Stallone and stayed 2 nights. We (myself and my son) booked a Superior Room but upon arrival, somebody... More

Breakfast superb. Location Excellent for shopping and Tourist Office nearby. Management and special thanks to Sarah and Ola who made our first visit to Manchester really special.
