Stayed here for the weekend, and was very pleased overall. The location is good, on the corner of Chinatown just a short walk from Oxford Road train station, which links to the Airport. Rooms are exactly what you'd expect from a hotel chain such as this and are clean, comfortable and quiet. Service is friendly and good. The full breakfast... more

Although located centrally, and close to all attractions, at least the very few that there are in Manchester, it was not particularly comfortable or enjoyable. The room was large and spacious, however unremarkable in decoration and appeal. It was a basic room with all the accoutrements, however really unattractively decorated. It was clean and quiet however. If you are looking... more

We stayed for a weekend at the Novotel and got a really good deal by using Tesco Reward Vouchers as payment. The check in process was quick and efficient. The room was spacious and contained tea/coffeee making facilities, a small fridge, television and a small safe. The buffet breakfast was varied and of a high quality. The staff were all... more

Stayed here 3 weeks out of 4 on business and for the money I would not go anywhere else in Manchester. I have recently also stayed at the Copthorne (aparently 4 star?) and Jurys and neither are anywher as good as te Novotel. Dont get me wrong its not all and all luxury but it is very practical, a fridge,... more

Spent a night at the Novotel in Manchester with my other partner and my son and we had a really great time...the room was lovely and the bathroom was very clean. The staff were very friendly and the location was great especially if you fancy a chinese meal! Would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. more

Great location near Chinatown, Oxford Road and a few minutes walk from Piccadily station. Modern exterior, lobby, bar and reception area, well presented corridors but the rooms have seen better days. OK for a night or two. The room design is like in the older novotels with open storage and cheap pod style bathroom units with a tight circular standing... more

Stayed here for three nights with my partner as an anniversary treat and we weren't disappointed. The hotel is a minute away from St Peter's Square tram stop and within easy walking distance of the main shopping areas and city centre attractions. It is situated in Chinatown (you can see the Dragon Arch from the lobby) but we experienced no... more

The Hotel staff are friendly. The room was a family room so loads of room for two. How much would you pay in another chain to watch TV sitting on a sofa in your room? The rooms were spotless and tehre was plenty of choice at Breakfast. Walk out the back door and you are in the middle of chinatown.... more

Me and my husband stayed here for a weekend break as we were going to the theatre. The hotel was a really cheap price (booked on the web) bed and breakfast. Staff friendly room a bit dated but clean and had everything we needed. Staff were nice gave us some good ideas for restaurants etc. Would go back. more

Spent one night in the Novotel Manchester when visiting a friend and that was enough. It was fairly cheap 8quid a night) so I can't complain too much, although I suspect there are better places in this bracket close by. When you check in the lobby area looks very nice but when I got to the room it was a... more
