We stayed here for one night as we were attending a concert at the Manchester Academy. It was conveniently located and had good secure parking facilities. It was in walking distance to several pubs, the academy and museum. The staff were friendly and polite. Quick easy check-in and the room was basic but very clean. It didn't have shower gel... More

We stayed here for one night as we were attending a concert at the Manchester Arena. The location is just outside of the main city centre, would probably take a good half hour to walk from Piccadilly, but in a taxi is about £4-7 depending on time of day. We stayed in a family room which was clean and had... More

Whist it was a budget hotel our room was quite steeply priced for what we did have. Our room was tiny, opposite the entrance to the floor where we were regularly disturbed by the noise of passer bys and we had awful view of the hospital. For the price we paid, we did half expect complimentary toiletries and a phone... More

We stayed as a group, mixture of adults and children. Rooms are clean and tidy and the bathrooms were also clean and tidy. Beds were a little uncomfortable and the pull out beds in the family rooms are extremely thin! We asked for extra duvets and pillows and the staff were only too pleased to help. We also asked for... Stayed at hotel recently for a stag weekend and have to say that whilst it was adequate for a stag weekend stay overall it isn't a great hotel. Very very basic indeed. The reception area is quite small and check-in can be very delayed because of large groups. Then when you get to your room it is very disappointing for... More

This easy to find Travelodge is on the A34 in the Uni/hospital area a mile or so South of the city. Good free secure parking and very friendly check-in were good starts. Rooms were clean and modern, this is a fairly new hotel, and furnished to a typical Travelodge standard, though bathrooms were above average for the brand. The location... More

I feared the worst, arriving by car we found the place easily and the secure parking was a bonus. But when we unloaded the car the Hen and Stag party groups began to arrive, many wearing pyjamas... I said to my partner that I fully expected to be wakened at Oh dark thirty. Staff were very pleasant and couldn't have... More

We booked one night at this hotel due to its close location to the O2 Apollo; 10 minutes walk meant we could leave the car in the hotel's secure car park. Being less than £30 for the room with free parking it suited us fine. Nice double room with plenty of space. Clean with a decent bathroom and very good... More

A lot of people say you get what you pay for, well for £21 for the night, we got a lot more than what we'd paid for, we chose this travelodge because of its location to the O2 Apollo, 10 mins walk away, which enabled us to leave our car in the secure car park, no charge, the rooms were... More

New, purpose built Travelodge. Good location, about 3 miles from the city centre. It has a gated, pin access, car park, which is free and plenty of spaces. Great staff, clean and modern rooms, bar and restaurant. Can't grumble.. Travelodge prices, £21 a night in advance and well worth it. Will happily return. Thanks
