Stayed here this weekend passed for 2 nights & it was absolutely spot on. I was really worried having read the reviews about what we'd gotten into however upon arrival we were really impressed. Room was clean, spacious &, while not particularly tasteful/modern, it had a TV, guests were quiet, bathroom clean (although the tap could use a scrub under... More

Went to the Crown & Anchor Inn by Holts Pubs on Caterton Street, Manchester. Was going to be a quick visit but the staff. Ambiance, good Beers and offers we stayed there 6 hours. 9 beers and a meal?, I can say what a venue. Worth a visit

We found this place on the way to our hotel and assumed it was a pub. Looked pretty nice inside so we went in search of a menu. A lady, presumably the owner, told us in a delightfully brusuqe manner that we were an hour early but she'd make us breakfast anyway. Food arrived pretty quickly, standard, top class full... More

Just literally popped in for change for the car park and ended up staying for most of the afternoon. Football was on to keep other half happy. Great food and good drinks. Will be making it a regular Saturday date day stop off. It was busy but had a nice atmosphere and there was a lot of families with young... More

Having worked in the hospitality trade for 20 years I was disgusted with the service and rudeness of the staff here, in particular SALLY. If she had been a member of my staff she would have been out the door faster than here feet would carrier her. I had booked the hotel for a client, it was quite last minute... More

The hotel is decent enough if your here for a quick cheap 1 night stay but I wouldn't stay too long. The shower in the room was not working. The service we received on arrival was rather poor although it did pick up at Breakfast time.

Centrally located in the northern quarter of manchester. Apart from that, there wasn't much else that was good about this place. Strange smells in the corridors, the bass from the pub downstairs penetrated my room. The room itself wasn't clean and furnished in a very cheap boutique hotel room look. But the sheets were clean and that's all I can... More

Hi all! I stayed there on a business trip! First the good points : 90 GBP for a triple room is probably ok - even cheap in the center of Manchester! At least I had space! However, when I arrived from the airport, in a rush to go to a meeting, checking in took a certain time for nothing as... More

My partner and I had a beef Sunday dinner here and really enjoyed it. The service was brilliant, it tasted delicious and was huge. It's really reasonably priced at £7 and they serve until late, maybe 5 or 6pm. I didn't think a lot of the food was home made as the carrots were from a tin and the Yorkshire... More
