My husband and I stayed at The Lowry as we were visiting Manchester to see The Eagles at the MEN Arena. We chose it becuase my husband has stayed there on business before and could recommend it, and also because it was walking distance to the MEN. As you approach the hotel for the first time you wonder if you've... more

My wife and I decided to stay at the Lowry to celebrate our Wedding anniversary .When we checked in this fact was mentioned to the girl at reception, and we thought nothing more of it. After an afternoons shopping in Manchester ,when we got back to our room we were surprised and delighted to find the management had left us... more

What a Fantastic & Brilliant Hotel. I booked this hotels as a surprise for my girlfriend. We stayed one night and we also went to see Beyonce at the MEN Arena. She was FANTASTIC. The hotel staff is very pleasant and very helpful. It is a modern hotel with modern deco. It is also very clean. Strawberries covered in Chocolate... more

Booked this for birthday treat for my husband and stayed with our 2 adult children.Upgraded to superior river viem room at no extra cost and could not fault them.Staff are very helpful and friendly.Due to its location, only 2 min walk over the bridge into the city centre, so taxi etc not required.Breakfast was great and even my sons were full(which... more

A very warm welcome is assured at this hotel. I would desribe it as minimalistic. It's spotlessly clean, but for the money I guess you would expect more than colourwashed plaster board. On the plus side, the bed was the most comfortable I've slept in in an hotel. Nice bathroom with larger than average bath. In room safe, I-pod docking... more

Went on a hen weekend in Manchester and stayed in The Lowry. First impression didnt have the WOW factor of a 5 star hotel should. Checking in was good with good service. The rooms where ok but nothing to write home about our room over looked a building site. Once checked out the rooms we went 2 see the SPA... more

This hotel is axactly what you would expect from a 5 star property. To be made to feel comfortable and not out of place. I stayed here with work, and whilst it was a freebie, I would happily pay their prices, as, staying in hotels all over the UK this is by far the very best, the qulaity of the... more

This hotel does not deserve its 5 star status. I decided to treat my husband to concert tickets at the MEN along with a nights stay in The Lowry hotel which would include a package including a riverside view room and afternoon tea in their restaurant. My husband was leaving for a tour of Iraq in the following week so... more

Great service, especially room service as we have a young baby. Gifts in cot were a nice surprise. Large spacious and air conditioned room, brill location for shops etc. Secure carpark but guests have to pay, would be better if cost included as an incentive to choose this hotel over others in the area. more

This is an excellent hotel. The staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and very well appointed, extremely comfortable, and very well equiped. The bathrooms are also large and well appointed. Everything you would expect in a high quality hotel such as this. There is plenty of space all round with a generous sized TV. For guests arriving... more
