Would never stay here again, it was in the middle redecoration like a building site. Strong smell of paint, gave me a terrible sore throat and awful taste in my mouth. Location was really bad, parked in disabled space as did not feel safe.

Nice cheap hotel. Bring refurbished which it didn't tell us about so the paint fumes were really strong. Being asthmatic not ideal but opened the window and they went. Quite small compared to other travelodge rooms I've stayed in but was ok. Comfy bed, new TV but was fuzzy and had plenty of essentials like soap etc. Bathroom looked new... More

We were put in a 'big' room on the first floor, that I don't mind, but the travel lodge was in the middle of a refurbishment. The room smelt very strongly of paint fumes, and even after airing it for 24 hours, the smell was still as unpleasant, this gave me a saw throat and I did not sleep for... More

Stayed here 9/8/2014, new beds. hotel being refurbished, staff more than helpful, special thanks to Nathan and lady who served a beautiful breakfast, think her name was Andrea. Easy place to find, just off main road. Large well lit and fenced car park. we would stay her again. Tony and Elaine.

This travelodge is very run down , the beds are in a state of near collapse and the rooms are very tired and in need of decoration. We didnt have to pay for parking as the machine was broken, but as this travelodge has its own car park i dont see why you should pay anyway.. We didn't eat or... More

This lodge does not meet the standards shown on the latest adverts, it was very dark in the bar area, the general areas have seen some major waer and tear, it is a real shame for a hotel so close to othr major locations.

Walking into this hotel, we suddenly had that horrendous sinking feeling when we realised why we had managed to get a hotel for so cheap, you pay for what you get! This poor hotel needs a good lick of paint, in fact, I'm not sure that will do, it needs a complete face lift and some kind of air-con installation!... More

Stayed in this travelodge a while back when visiting the area, seemed the best value at the time. Finding it wasn't particularly difficult but felt like I was entering the set of an apocalyptic movie by the state of surrounding buildings. Took over 10 minutes for a member of staff to greet us at reception by using the phone button... More

Stayed here for one night as hotel we wanted was fully booked. Hotel from outside looks ok however have to pay for parking. Room really run down and needed attention. Room had old CRT tv that was not able to even pick up one tv channel, shaver point broken, bathroom really in need of a decent tiler. Slept really well... More
