Cheap prices, far enough outside of the city centre to get low prices, would need a car or good transport to get back into centre. However the rooms are worn out and need a lot of attention. Costs £3 a day to park at the hotel. Staff are nice and place is ok, not the best location, bit rough and... More

For my partners birthday we had a night out in Manchester. So I booked this months in advance and got a double room for £23.00 and paid £2.00 for parking on site. When we arrived at the Travelodge we were checked in promptly and efficiently by the receptionist Our room was 32, which was opposite the entrance to the stairwell... More

We arrived with light bulbs not working in room (there are no ceiling lights) and had to ask for them to be changed. The tv remote control was the wrong remote control and the tv itself was an old fashioned box one that we havent seen for some time. Even the staff looked embarrassed to work there. The bed is barely... More

A friend and I stayed in this Travelodge and overall, I was very pleased. The room was a double room, quite small, but big enough for us as we were staying one night. The room was clean, well decorated and much better than some Travelodges I have previously stayed in. The staff were friendly, and very helpful when we had... More

This is a pretty unpleasant travelodge which could do with serious refurbishment. Bad showers (dribble), tired furnishings, missing bulbs. Also appeared to be difficulties keeping raucous guests in check late on Saturday night, although I did hear staff trying. Room was clean enough, though. Broken remote / no batteries and telly with weird buzz. Also seems unnecessary to charge (only... More

We stayed here for one night and paid £21 for the room. I can't complain for the price. The thing was, I always think Travelodges are pretty consistent but I was wrong. This travelodge is dated. We had no ceiling lights in the room but only 1 working bedside lamp. The room was cold and dark. It did have a... More

We stayed as a party of 6 with three rooms. Quick check in and good friendly customer service. The rooms were a but drab and I feel the hotel is in need of an uplift. The bath was very small and was hard to actually use and I'm 5ft 2. Overall the room was basic and met our needs. During... More

I paid £43 for two nights. I wasn't expecting much. On the down side the walls were covered in stained woodchip wall paper and the doors a yellowing gloss. On the upside, the bed was extremely comfortable, I had adequate pillows and the bathroom was clean and there was a small bath as well as a shower which was a... More

To all the people whining incessantly about the 'state of the room' or the area or the staff service, you're paying £30 a night for 2 people. What do you expect? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically...? West Gorton is an interesting area. If you're up for a walk, it's not too far to central Manchester (though for some reason Google... More
