Stayed for a two night stay recently.Perfect place to use as a base for shopping etc due to its central location and nearby travel links. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The room was spotless and more than adequate for the two of us.No hesitation in booking for our next trip!

Excellent choice was made when we booked this hotel. It is ideally located in the centre of Manchester close to all amenities within walking distance to Deansgate. Check in was painless and efficient really comfortable room with a wicked POD shaped shower room. Nice cafe/dining area and bar with good free wifi throughout the hotel. Discounted secure car park 50... More

Very budget. Pretty clean, bed was ok, food was average. The hallways appeared to be more like questionable apartments blocks but I could get over that. Staff were friendly and helpful. Noisy at night but not that bad. Location was a benefit and overall "exactly what it says on the tin"

Basic is the word. For £28 a night can't really complain, comfy, stylish, clean and modern. Decent nights sleep but missing basic essentials such as kettle, hair dryer, shampoos etc - worth packing some of these if you stay here. Great location though and parking nearby for £4. Would stay here again, if your looking for a cheap stay in... More

Most importantly the hotel was clean and secure - especially late at night when they lock the main doors and lifts so you can only access the hotel with your own room key. The staff were all helpful and friendly, especially Daniel who was on reception nightshift during our stay. The hotel is situated right between china town and 'the... More

Basic room but it wasn't expensive so we weren't expecting much. Carpet didn't feel very clean. The biggest problem was the noise - it was the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed in. Street noise till 4am and other guest banging doors and making noise a lot. The corridors seemed to carry the noise too. Would not recommend for a work... More

If you've stayed at an Ibis before then you already know exactly what you are going to get as far as bedroom is concerned; every one that I have stayed at so far has been identical. You get a double bed, a strange curved seat in the corner (this was converted to a single bed for our son to make... More

I stayed here while attending a conference at the University for work, it was my second stay at the hotel, having also visited in 2006. In terms of location it was close to Chinatown and Canal Street and approximately a 10/15 minute walk from the Uni buildings I was in town to visit. It turned out there is a newer... More

I found my stay here poor for the reasons below: - noisy hotel (very central but noisy because of it) - uncomfortable bed - tired, very dated rooms - very very poor internet connection - barely works as it is very slow Other points: - staff fine - location very central - value OK would not return as I know... The hotel is centrally located, with a lot of shops around it. One thing to particularly note would be that the Manchester city has a free shuttle bus that brings you from Manchester Piccadilly station to the opposite of the hotel. So do make use of it, it's line 3 (purple one). Would also like to particularly commend Ashley, who... More
