“Good location but unclean room!”

I have stayed in several ibis hotels in Europe but I would not recommend this one. The location is excellent, walking distance to the city center, but the room was unclean!

I recently stayed at the Ibis on Charles Street for 2 nights. It was a basic hotel and served it's purpose. The car park is over the road and belongs to Manchester Met; the weekend prices are very reasonable. “Good for Manchester conference centre bad for everything else”

Hi booked this as on a two day conference in the MCC . Unclean rooms with telly that doesn't eire. Also holes in the bedding. When spoke to duty manager palmed me off by saying I can speak to assistant manager tomorrow, to get told following day that they can't refund me and that I have Ti wait another day... More

“Great value for Manchester”

Clean, helpful staff, improved breakfast, all good. Drawback no free WiFi except on one hotel computer in lobby where it will usually be occupied. Was not possible to print from this when I was there. Get Free Wifi Ibis!

“Very good clean, basic hotel.”

If you are looking for somewhere simple and clean to rest your head then this place does the trick. The bed was comfy however the pillows were extremely uncomfortable and solid. To some up, basic, clean and good customer service.

The hotel is located in an excellent location as we were within walking distance to the Oxford Road and Picadilly train stations as well as the Manchester city centre.
