This hotel was ridiculously good value. Paid 39.50 for a Sunday night on bank holiday weekend. Amazing. Included free parking, breakfast and wifi. Wifi password given to us immediately at check in, no messing around. Rooms were very large and clean and contained all the little extras such as toiletries, tea, coffee and even biscuits. Only issue was that the... More

Stayed here to watch a pre season friendly at Old Trafford, location perfect a two minute walk to the stadium, the room was ok a little tired but very clean. I had drink in the bar, the staff were chatty and friendly, I did not eat so can't comment on the food. All in a great stop over for the... More

We booked the restaurant for a meal for 8 people. The bar area is comfortable, the only downside was the wait to get served. We were the only ones in the bar, however there was only one member of staff who was responsible for the bar, taking orders in the restaurant and waiting on the tables - the poor sod... More

We stayed overnight here as had tickets for the Lowry. It is within walking distance, close to the canal and old Trafford. When we checked in we were told where the bar was but when we did find it, it was closed, so couldn't get a cold drink (it was very hot day!) On reading info in room, the bar... More

We only stayed at this Hotel for one night as we where meeting up with some friends. The staff where really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We had a bar meal instead of going into the restaurant and the Food was really good. Nice clean room with a comfy bed and even a fan was supplied because of... More

We stayed at Chesters for one night and overall it was a good stay. Our room was quite big as well as the ensuite bathroom. We were served a very big breakfast too. Generally speaking the room and hotel is clean though it does need some refurbishment especially in the common areas. Its location just 5 minutes away from Old... More

Took a while to get this on, stayed in January for a wee shopping trip with my mum, our room was massive! Very clean, and a nice view of old Trafford from the window. Only thing I would comment on was the noise of the floorboards when walking round.. It's an old building tho and the layout was quite confusing.... More

We stayed here for 1 night while going to the Robbie Williams concert at MEN. Arrived at hotel after calling to confirm where the entrance was - the car park is situated at the rear of the hotel along with the reception. The car park has free parking and CCTV. We were given a room on the top floor with... More

After attending my nephew's wedding in Knutsford, I decided to spend some days in Manchester before returning back to Nigeria. I am a Manchester United fan and I needed a hotel close to our stadium. Chesters Hotel & Restaurant was one of my choices...no regrets settling for it. This small size hotel tucked some few meters to the Old Trafford... More

We were allowed to check in early which was good. We went down to the bar which was completely empty and had one bar man who disappeared for over an hour so we left! Other than that it was ok. Service at breakfast was great aswell. Good value for money ☺️
