With tickets for a United game given as a gift for Christmas we (Husband and me) decided to make a mini break of it. My Husband booked the hotel and what a great choice it was, a small friendly hotel within a 2 minute walk from Old Trafford. The room was large and spacious (room 3) with both bath and... More

Really good accomodation if you need hotel before early flight. We paid £30 for both of us without breakfast as we had to go to the airport early. Really decent room and bathroom, tea, coffee and kettle to use- very quiet when we stayed there. There is huge Tesco store opposite but the hotel was there first - nothing to complain... More

The hotel is in a good location I stayed following our xmas party which was held in Castlefield. I was pleasantly surprised the rooms are large, clean and well equipped. Also they opened the bar so we could have a nightcap when we returned which was great. The only thing I would say is that the twin beds are a little narrow. The bonus... I had room 12, which was a large room at the front of the hotel. The room was very clean including the towels, which were spotless. The room was noisy due to the busy road at the front and a Tesco store across the road with lights on all night, although the curtains were black out curtains. The room above... More

It was the staff that made this hotel. Rooms clean and spacious, creaky floorboards very loud above our room. Breakfast adequate and plentiful Well positioned for old Trafford(could see end of stand at the end of the road) and Salford quays. Taxi into Manchester £10

Was given room 17, told it was upstairs, went through two doors from reception, round a corner and saw a sign to rooms 10-16 up the stairs or a lift; so stayed on the ground floor, went through another door and saw another set of stairs with a sign to rooms 10-16; I gave that a miss as well and... You may have driven past this place many times and wondered what it was. We went here for the Sunday carvery roast and were very impressed. A selection of roast pork, turkey, beef and joint of bacon which came with a home made Yorkshire pudding. The veg selection was great and consisted of boiled and roast potatoes, Savoy cabbage and...
