Two night break without the kids so looking for a bit of luxury within an easy walk of central Manchester and this fitted the bill perfectly. Staff excellent from the moment we arrived to moving my car to the front door in the rain when we left - apart from the harassed breakfast staff....... just not enough empty tables so... More

Just got back last night from a 2 night stay at the Victoria & Albert Manchester. This was our second time here and absolutely loved it once again. From walking through the front door to the smile of the concierge, to getting help with the taxi on leaving for the station it was great. Ellianna on reception was such a... More

Stayed in the hotel for corrie tour and to spend some time in Manchester. 15min walk from Oxford station easy route to follow. Room on 1sr floor which was fine. Lovely detail with the beams etc. Staff were very polite and helpful and the bar lounge area was lovely to relax and spend some time in. Breakfast was OK, as... More

Stayed for one night, didn't use any facility's. But slept perfectly. The hotel building is gorgeous with its old brick and it old wooden beams. Perfect place for visiting the spinning fields area. The parking may seem expensive but it's less than the ncp car park.

Due to the Roadworks and road closures it was very difficult to get to the Hotel. We could see it but drive around for sometime before getting directions from a car park attendant. We would have appreciated an email from the hotel management prior to our stay warning us of this and giving directions. Check in was quick and easy.... More

Dear XenaDog, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel and the detailed feedback your provided us. Our bar and restaurant is very popular with hotel guests and local residents, however I would like to apologise about the apparent lack of attention during dinner service. The hotel as most of our competitors in Manchester provides complimentary WiFi access... More

Second time that we have stayed here and both times we have had a thoroughly lovely time. Rooms are of an excellent standard, we had a junior suite this time and there was plenty of space for us both. We decided to eat in the restaurant the first night we stayed and found the food to be of a very... More

Booked this hotel for a girls night to celebrate one of their 40th birthdays.. From driving up to the front of the hotel to checking out it was fantastic.. Service was excellent with them paying attention to the birthday girl (and sending cake to the room in the afternoon after picking up on that there was a birthday!) breakfast was... More

It is a long stay of 3 weeks. It is a typical start hotel. Clean, and all service in place. I like here. There is also a gym nearby, free for guest. And also very close to downtown area. 15 min. Walk to Chinatown. I like the breakfast most. Lots of selections. And the waiters are extremely kind, and helpful.... More
