When we arrived our reservation was not known to the lady behind the desk. We got the papers to prove our reservation. Still she is not convinced. When we start to argue to her, she begins to complain that we said racist words to her, but we NEVER NEVER said something in the category of racism. Furthermore the toilets were... More

I gave 2 points only because it is warm in the rooms. Shower room is very cold and old like from 80th...There is no Women shower room...but they have "men shower only"...wonder why, seriously. The rooms all mixed. Men & women. So had to change in the cold "unisex" shower room this morning. The toilets are very dirty and last... More

There are some quite nice pictures on the internet, but the hostel just didn't look like that AT ALL. I got a smelly room in the basement. It didn't look very clean, nobody told me where the showers and the toilets are (OK, I can use my own eyes, but normally at a hostel the staff tells you stuff like... More

Worst hostel we've been ever and we've been in a lot. Entrance is ok but when you go downstairs the smell is your welcome. The urinoir was flooded with urine and it was there the whole weekend. Massive smell !! The cleaners just left it as it was. No windows and beds need replacement. No wather in many places, just... More

Stayed for a night for a girls trip to Manchester. We were in no way expecting the Ritz but it is impossible to put into words just how bad this hostel is. First, the good: location is perfect for going out and the bed sheets were very clean. That's it! The bad: the filthiest, smelliest carpets I have ever seen,... More

We booked for 17 persons and the first night we got split up in 4 rooms. We booked 3 but that's not a problem. The 4 persons room was good enough for the money. But... the 2nd day we came back in our hostel and 2 rooms were move into 1 big room. The just put our clothes and stuff... More

Kinda ok hostel if you are travelling for site seeing etc. Pros: -Clean rooms. -Free WiFi working properly 24*7 -Most important is the location. Just beside the Victoria Station, Football Museum and Manchester Cathedral.10 mins walk to the Town Centre. Many clubs, shops etc just 3 mins away. Cons: -Very small rooms. -Toilets are downstairs even for the 1st floor... More

This hostel is fantastic value for money. I really wasn't expecting a lot as my 3 friends and I were booked in a 28 bed dorm, but it was clean, modern and had very comfy beds. The staff were amazing and one lady (Billy) even gave us a lift out as our taxi was late! Legend! Right next to the... More
