We arrived at the pub around 2:30 and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by lovely staff and locals in the pub. We were shown to our rooms and left to it. The rooms were extremely tidy and clean, the beds were comfy and the shower was hot with high pressure! Myself and two lads stayed here,... More

We spent the weekend here - Booked through booking.co.uk which was nice and easy - no deposit etc was taken when we arrived we had to pay the full amount which we could pay on card! The room was a tripple but could have fitted more! - We had two double beds and there were also two pull out beds... More

Me and 2 friends stayed for the weekend from Friday to Monday! To begin we were apprehensive due to some of the reviews on here but once we arrived we knew we had picked the right place! The Hotel is easily located right on Canal Street and a short walk from the Shop of central Manchester! Initially we struggled to... More

Stayed here for 1 night, lovely clean room and polite friendly staff. We ended up spending our night in the bar until closing. The guy on the bar,Andy, was chatty and welcoming as was the lady that was serving earlier. Sorry I can't remember her name but she finished at 8pm on January 21st. She was very helpful and gave... Couldn't check in as someone was in our room with a late check out, so had to get ready in another room! Couldn't use the shower tho! So came back to our room at 12am that night and the music from down stairs was sooo loud, and went on till 4am. Instead of 3am as stated! Then it was noise... More

Dear Gareth, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at our hotel. Due to the unavoidable noise issue, our main priority is the cleanliness of the rooms so I was horrified to see your photos and fed your comments back to the hotel staff immediately. The rooms are checked every day by the hotel managers after... More

I would never stay here again staff rude and room was disgusting the price was over priced 160 for one night it's a filthy run down pub. I would of rather set alight my money then stay in this dirty bedsit of a room. Staff shocking all you heard all night is the bars .

Dear Kellie Thank you for your email. I am sorry that your experience fell short of your expectation. I have spoken to the night manager who said that people from your room were hanging out of the window pouring water onto people on the street below. This caused considerable upset to those who were drenched and he came to your... More

This place is at most a hostel with the luxury of your own toilet. The room has the bare minimum. My room has 3 beds and ONE chair with kettle and cups. The room is very poorly lit. The bathroom is so small it only just fit one in at a time. There are no toiletries - just hand soup... More

Dear DOWSB Thank you taking the time to review your recent stay at our hotel. The hotel is aimed at people who are visiting Manchester for leisure and there is high demand from our target market for rooms that accommodate 4 people. Hence why we put extra beds in the larger rooms rather than desks (which would not be used... More

We booked here last minute but were glad we did. From the moment we arrived the staff were so polite and helpful, the breakfast was adequate (as they don't do a cooked breakfast it was continental), the room was basic but comfortable - en suite shower and toilet, television was a little small but for the price we paid it... Yes it is in the Gay area and the bar downstairs is full of gay men perhaps a little intimidating for some. Lovely view of gay-night club from window. Lots of bars about. I did book with a card but they said there was a problem with my card and I'd have to pay by cash. I asked for a... More

Went in here with a friend a while ago and left my brand new earphones that I had just bought. ( Dr Dre £80) Well it was very stupid of me to leave them there and it was my totally own fault but anyway when I got home I rang the pub in the hope somebody had handed them in... More

Dear Brian I am really sorry to read that you didn't get your earphones back. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us - the barmaid did not inform me of this situation.
