If you're wanting a quiet hotel that's suitable for a family trip I would say to look elsewhere, but if you're wanting something close to the canal street nightlife you can't beat this place. We wanted somewhere to stay for one night that was reasonably cheap, so we could have a proper night out on canal street, and this fit... More

The room was okay. But the location wasn't so good. Maybe because it was a Saturday night and the hotel was situated right next to a bar, it got really loud. Two guys were fighting downstairs and were shouting swear words at each other. It was really uncomfortable as I had my parents there with me. I would definitely give... More

Have stayed here twice it is a nice place with very polite, courteous and helpful staff. The rooms are average but for the prices paid you can't complain. They are clean but basic. The hotel is at the very top of canal street so it is perfectly placed for gay clientele who are going to be going pubbing and clubbing... More

Stayed two nights with my partner and Mother in this centrally located hotel in Manchester. Although the rooms and en-suite bathrooms were clean and well presented and the staff were pleasant; this hotel is not to be recommended for the following reasons. Firstly all the rooms are above a pub/nightclub, the door to the nightclub is open to the corridors... More

I didn’t actually stay at the hotel but I did visit the pub. This is listed as a specifically gay friendly hotel which would make sense due to being in the heart of Canal Street, Manchester. We started out night at the pub and had our first few drinks in the pub section to the left. There is a night... More

My friend & I came to Manchester for a seventies concert & chose this hotel to stay in because of it's location to Piccadilly station & the concert venue. On arrival we were given such a friendly welcome by the owner we immediately felt relaxed. We spent the afternoon sat outside next to the canal, where we met more friendly... More

Was down with boyfriend and friends for weekend rooms were large and clean. Fresh towels every day and rooms cleaned every day. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms above bar but more noise from outside than there but still wasnt bad. Central for Canal Street and city centre only 10 min walk. Would highly recommend

If you're heading to Manchester for a weekend of fun and frolics this is definitely a great place to rest your head. Maintenance could use a bit of TLC (scratches on the walls, a lick of paint here and there) but the place was very clean and very comfortable. Staff were great. Very friendly, funny and went out of their... More

To be true....i did not know where i was going! I arrived at night...so the club underneath the hotel was in full splendor...and loudness! The great thing is that, when in the room, the noise is just far, and you can enjoy all the facilities! The room was very big, en suite bathroom, and the bed was extracomfortable. Wifi is... More
