I wasn't expecting much being a pub hotel but it was dire. This must be your last choice in Manchester. The sheets were clean but everything else needed cleaning or renewing. The shower had one broken door ( and that was it), the carpet was threadbare, the cups were dirty, the window was dirty and only opened a tiny bit... More

We stayed here one day right after the Christmas. We had booked it in advance, but we didn't know that it was located in gay village. The hotel and room decorated in very gay style. It was cold inside and too loud until 2 am because of the club on the ground floor.

Would not advise staying at this hotel,I booked a room for an overnight stay and was disgusted,I felt that I had been cheated out of my money, the shower head was dirty, the shower doors were broken, the sink tap was broken, the sink had three large chips along the basin, carpets were old and frayed and the room was dirty

We booked a double room here for £35. Yes it's not the most modern hotel and there is a lot of work to be done, but for the price I won't be critical. The bed was surprisingly comfy and we had a great sleep. The breakfast the next morning was lovely: a good selection of cereals, juices, Tea and coffee... More

Myself and a friend booked here for a one night stay on March 14th 2015. We paid £120 for a double room which we thought was good for a late booking. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. You have to share bathrooms with everyone else on the floor, the place was definitely not the cleanest and the drains were... More

Just dont do it. Thats the important part! I really wish I had read reviews before booking this place, but unfortunately did not. The place is dirty and grubby and the staff are abrupt and disinterested. This is a gay hotel - which is what I wanted - central to Canal St. However, what you only seem to learn when... More

I stayed there with a friend at the beginning of February 2015. We were looking for a cheap place to stay as we only wanted to get drunk in Manchester. We didn't need a luxury hotel for that as it was only to have a bed. However, there are some limits!! When booking, the photos showed a nice bed in... More

Bed was comfy but that's where the fun train ended, The room was in dire need of a refresh, The in room safe didn't work and you could hear people walking back and forth to the toilet all night, That aside I only paid £33 for the night anymore and i would have felt cheated.

I stayed here for one night. I was immediately taken by the friendliness of the staff. Andy was warm and welcoming and made me feel like I had been a regular at REM Bar my whole life. Very unfortunately the rooms, shared loos and hallways are in very poor condition. The whole accommodation requires complete gutting, reconfiguring and modernisation. I... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed in this hotel last night as we travelled far to watch the football. It was cheap and a good location (we wanted to have a few drinks that evening) before we left home, my bf called the hotel and asked if there was parking available. The guy on the phone said there was £4.50 24hours.... More
