My husband and I love Manchester malmaison so we stayed here for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We booked the £145 room, dinner and breakfast rate, which was great value. We were delighted at check to be told we had been upgraded to a 'super suite' and amazed by the Moulin Rouge suite when we opened the door... More

stayed in a suite on a friday/saturday night. room was on a corner and overlooked with no net curtains so needed to keep curtains closed. insufficient draw space. small bathroom. bedroom was fine but other room was basic. breakfast okay. very noisy at night. loud music in bar/restaurant on friday night meant we went elsewhere. restaurant for lunch was fine.... good value dine & stay packages available - watch pricing it changes frequently. Changed again for included cocktails at checkout - rectified after discussion. corner suite comfortable, quite dark and a bit scruffy round the edges. showers good. Good channel options on TV - sky etc. service pleasant and friendly - 3 o'clock check in is too late with it... More

This hotel is marvellous value for what is a very romantic, sumptious hotel. And please please ensure you have an evening meal in the restaurant, it is excellent. The steaks are out of this world, moules delightful, cocktails and desserts beautifully made and tasty. Above all service across the board was excellent

Checked in around 3pm, really helpful staff,we opted to upgrade my daughter's room for her birthday. We were allocated the Blue suite (Manchester City theme ),this put a huge smile on my daughters face even though she is a United fan(a fickle one at that!). After an exciting Saturday afternoon on Deans-gate we returned to 'freshen-up'. Both our rooms were... More

We did a spring offer Saturday night stay which included 3 course dinner and a cocktail of your choice. We were meeting friends there and arrived before them. Checked in with a great reception member named John. We joked with him about allocating us the best room as we had arrived first. It wasn't until the 4 of us shared... More

With its bohemian yet stylishly decadent decor, the Malmaison is excellently placed in the heart of Manchester. It looks like it was styled by Tim Burton. All the mod-cons you'd expect of a 4 star hotel, complete with that famous Mancunian welcome. Located within 5 min walk of Piccadilly Station.

"Exceeded expectations" does not, in itself tell anyone very much unless you know what the expectations were and by how much they were exceeded. In the case of Malmaison, Manchester they were very low. This was as a result of two factors, one historic and one current. The historic factor was a bad initial experience on our previous visit. Even... More

Totally chilled stay in this lovely chic hotel where the staff couldn't do enough for us. The most amazing Sunday lunch, 3 courses for 19.95, where the starter is unlimited. Great cocktails and tasty bar menu. I definitely had a couple of days of luxury.. Thanks, I'm so coming back

A lovely hotel where nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff. The room was spacious and comfortable with high end bathroom products for use. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. The decor was very well done but masculine in the bedroom making the mirrors hard to see for make up; the building work started early and was very loud!... More
