Lovely hotel in a great location for Piccadilly Rail Station but much more form rather than function. This hotel doesn't seem to know what the travelling business person wants and was all a bit faffy. If you want speed and ease this hotel doesn't really deliver but it's very pretty. The final straw was that they got my receipt wrong... More

All in all a lovely stay, nice room, lovely bar area and good selection at breakfast - but be warned ladies not ideal lighting in the room to get dolled up and do your hair and make up as quite dark! I would stay again tho so not all bad as location is great!

This is the third Malmaison I have stayed in and without being too negative it's my least favourite. Check in was busy but the staff were friendly and we were given our room key quickly once seen. Our room was well furnished but there wasn't the usual "wow" of the other Malmaisons I stayed in and I began to feel... More

Firstly I would like to start by saying I usually love Malmaison however I can't see myself staying here again. We had booked as my birthday treat and had booked to watch a show too. We chose the wine and dine deal as it seemed a fair price. We had upgraded to the superior room which in all honesty was... More

The positives: Slept really well and that's the most important thing. Bed was comfy and quiet, room temperature was good. Nice shower. Very convenient location, especially for the train station. The negatives: Food was not very good. Internet barely worked throughout my stay (had to either reset my computers network preferences or ask for the router to be reset manually... More

We stayed at the hotel on a busy Saturday evening. The first impressions of the lobby and check in was very good, the reception staff couldn't have been more helpful. The booked Superior Twin Room was good, it had a couple of small bruises, but otherwise was as described and appointed. The lounge bar food was really enjoyable and once... More

We booked a big room for all the family and kids to enjoy Christmas Day in. The room was great and so was the food. The service by the girls/ladies/servers was brilliant. Friendly helpful and all with a smile. We could either use a small more private bare or mingle in the main bar over the reception. Great atmosphere all... More

Very comfortable rooms with excellent beds and pillows for a great nights sleep. One of the best hotels I have stayed in for a long time. Highly recommended for business or couples. Probably not a family hotel..too upmarket

Me & my husband spent 2 nights here for his 30th birthday....i emailed the hotel to ask for a banner in the room & they emailed back going one better saying they would upgrade our room plus put balloons & a card in the room. Unfortunately when we got there there were no balloons or card but the room was... More

The Malmaison chain is one I've stayed in a few times but unfortunately I won't be back to Manchester again. This is partly because of room issues, and secondly because of how my complaint and issues were dealt with. One bit of advice is that who wants a relatively quiet night should make sure they have a room at the... More
