Having read previous reviews I was a little apprehensive to say the least - but booked an executive room (602)which was tastefully decorated - very clean - comfy bed - ultra modern bathroom and large fluffy towels. All Staff we came into contact with were very friendly, respectful and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent location only a short... More

My friend and i planned a spontaneous trip to Manchester for a night out and were looking for a hotel to stay in. We went into the Gardens Hotel and enquired if they had any vacancies, which we were told no. However, Paris, the man on the desk, gave us some ideas for places that may have vacancies, and then... Stayed last Thursday, location excellent for Piccadilly. In one of the executive rooms ( 601 ). Clean and good size, value for money, BUT radiator cold and towel rail also meant bathroom cold. Called reception although helpful couldn't get it working ( no idea what they tried to do ) and ended up with electric heater either too hot or... More

Excellent hotel.Fantastic location minutes from Piccadilly Station. Very comfy bed. Only quibble a woman came in my room by mistake with a card key either a member of staff or double booked. Would stay here again though.

Arriving after a 4 hour road trip, you want to head to your room, but no, they've given your room away! Was told by Linda on reception that it wasn't her problem!? Linda must have been off sick when they had a customer service course! Very rude and abrupt to say the least! The manager Christian then appeared and said... More

As the previous review summed it up nicely for me, I will just add abit more! Was given key for room only to find that it was already occupied. I'm just glad that there was no one in at the time and also the security issue Was given another set of keys but was called back as was told that... More

Where to begin? Probably with a strong recommendation to stay in any accommodation other than the Gardens Hotel or to seek a bus shelter for the night as certain superior lodgings. Four of us were meant to be staying on Saturday night at the Gardens hotel. Only two of us were able to on account of one of the rooms... More

Good Morning and thank you for your review. Whilst it may not be of any consolation to you, I feel that it is appropriate as the manager to offer an official explanation. On Saturday we did experience serious problems with our wifi, email and computer systems throughout the day and late into the evening, we had no access to our... More

Stayed here over night on 13/01/16. The hotel was clean and tidy, the staff on the front desk were friendly and helpful. The hotel room was clean and bed was comfortable. Would stay again when I go back to Manchester

I phoned ahead as my train was delayed meaning I'd arrive after midnight. It's probably the nearest hotel to Manchester Piccadilly so an easy walk, but had to phone again as couldn't find the entrance in the dark. Thankfully I was given a warm welcome at reception and felt secure in my surroundings. My 2nd floor room was warm and... More
