I stayed at the Etrop Grange one night while on my way back home. Great location, very close to the airport but not under any flight paths. The staff was very kind and fun, very attentive. The hotel is appealing from the outside. The shuttle to and from the airport is very quick and the drivers are friendly and helpful.... more

I stay at this hotel often as I my company sends me on training courses in Manchester a couple of times a year. The rooms are a good size and well equipped, plenty of biscuits :) with the recent addition of air-con in the rooms (although mine conks out after 10 minutes). The staff are very good indeed, much better... more

Very pleasant hotel with nice rooms. Bed was supremely comfortable. Very different from the usual airport hotels. Staff were very friendly. Guests were a mix of business people and couples flying out from Manchester airport. The food was good, although pricey, and I do object to paying another £3 or £4 for veg to go with an expensive main. Breakfast... more

was informed my room was a refurbished one, so was expecting something of a good standard, ended up to be nicely decorated but dirty and cramped, phone didn't work and limited hot water. food was good though, service better than average. Overpriced for what it is. more

We stayed at The Etrop Grange Hotel the night before my daughter's flight to New York and it was so peaceful and relaxing. You would never know that you were so close to an airport as you can't hear the planes at all. The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous above and beyond the call of duty. The room was... more

I have stayed at a number of airport hotels being a keen traveller and nowhere, but nowhere, that I've stayed has ever been as good as this. From the porter opening the door of my taxi and speedy yet friendly check-in and being shown to my room, it's clear that the service ethic is very high. Yes the floor was... more

Due to the nature of my profession, I regularly use hotel facilities to accomodate training courses. Upon arrival I was greeted in the car park and my luggage was taken to reception whilst checking in and then to my room. I had a comprehensive explaination of room & hotel amenites. The room was clean & compact but well appointed with... more

We stayed here VERY VERY last minute on the 21st Dec 2007 on our way to New York. We booked with Peter at about 10pm, a true gentleman who said he would accommodate our family of four in one room and save us the cost of an extra room (which was £99). When we arrived at midnight our room was... more

My husband and I stayed at the Etrop Grange Manchester Aiport several weeks ago. Normally we would just stay at the Radisson on site, but it was full. The Etrop Grange is beautifully decorated like an English Manor house. Definitely not your run of the mill Airport Hotel. We booked late at night at the last minute. The staff provided... more

We regularly use this hotel because of its proximity to Manchester airport and we have always been satisfied with both the hotel service and standard of the rooms. The rooms do vary in size but all the ones I have had are comfortable. The downside is that because of the number of stairs the rooms are not easily accessible but... more
