The service was excellent, food very good. We were given an upgrade to executive room!.All in all a very nice stay. The only comment I would make was that the pillows were a little lumpy!.The rooms have been obviously recently decorated.

The exterior and interior of this hotel makes you think you're getting something classy. Do not be fooled! I paid extra for an 'executive' room, but my room was run down, the bed horrible, lumpy and hard, the tv an old box with grainy reception, and despite calling down to reception, I had no wifi for the length of my... Stayed her for one night as it was close to Piccadilly paying £135 for just the one night we expected it to be decent - boy were we wrong! The room was old, tired and smelled like an old peoples home! There was single glazing on the grubby windows that looked out onto the main road making it difficult to... More

The hotel from hell - allegedly paid for an executive room but peeling wallpaper, jumble sale art on walls, narrow twin beds, radiator stuck on red hot, we needed a fan and to open the window and did not even climb into bed it was so uncomfortable - despite their awareness of this we were offered no rebate. Sliding door... More

This place is disgusting. Me and my boyfriend stayed last night as we were at a gig nearby. We arrived and thought it looked so posh and grand with the huge chandelier and the fancy interior. However as we walked down the corridor to our room it smelt stale of cigarettes and looked really run down and eerie. Our room... More

Was quite pleasantly surprised with our stay. Was expecting a filthy, smelly, noisy room, but didnt get any of that. Room although dated was clean, the bed was big and comfy so no issues. Had a pizza and drink included with the deal and it was very nice. Breakfast was ok too. Overall was a good visit.

having a bit of a laugh with the November/December prices aren't we? £260 is way over what anybody would expect to pay for the Britannia Hotel. Xmas markets or not. Apparently I need 200 characters... so... I'd just like to say I have stayed before , but for the reasonable price of £54 which is in my opinion right on... More

We stayed at this Hotel last year when we went to see Robbie Williams. The room was old fashioned the wall paper was coming off the walls the facilities basic. The room overlooked the alley with all the air con boxes. Disgusted to say the least. I have never stayed anywhere that is built up to be so posh &... More

The hotel has very great location and it's shows very luxurious but the rooms are very poor and small even there is no window!,, I can't Magen that . The breakfast also very poor and the service wasn't up to standard. The reception staff was very helpful...

This hotel has potential given it's location and the building it is in, but unfortunately has been left and is in need of updating. The hotel is centrally based and provides easy access to Manchester. The floorboards and walls are extremely thin so you can hear everything from other rooms. We had trouble sleeping from the notice upstairs but we're... More
