Stayed here 21/10/14 in 1 Twin Bed & 1 Double Executive room. Disgustingly filthy! The best thing about our stay was leaving. Disgustingly FILTHY Bathroom with Black Mold all round the Bath and Shower. The Bast was a Whirlpool Bath and the Nozzles were very dirty from past use. as we did not want to Bathe or Shower in other... More

Overpriced for what it is. Good location - and it's an interesting building. Even a small amount of money spent on deep cleaning, repainting, replacing the dim yellowed lighting, etc would make a big difference. Sadly as it is I can't recommend it. Corridors smell really musty and unpleasant, like 20 years of dust and cigarettes. Stayed in an internal... More

Stayed at the Manchester britannia hotel in July, maids did an excellent job as in clean bedding and bathroom. But carpet/ walls full of stains never seen anywhere as bad to be honest, complained to hotel And emailed customer service twice. Never heard anything from them.

We was hoping to get a room at Travelodge which is just round the corner of Sacha's at 1:30am after a night out in Manchester. Unfortunately they were full but were directing people to this "fine" establishment. When we walked in impressions were ok. Went to reception and explained we missed our last train. He charged us £100 which he... More

Upon arrival we were floored by the appearance of what can only be described as a hotel that rents rooms by the hour... the clientele as well. We thought, never to judge a book by its cover , as stated in the hotel description ' bedrooms are en suite and tastefully finished with modern facilities. So I entered my room... More

One word - "Catastrophe" . The worst hotel I've ever been. Dirty, old looking hotel. Some of the rooms without the windows. WiFi so slow it is almost impossible to check the e-mails. If you are lucky you will have this slow Intenet in your room. Breakfast awful, nothing special to eat for 10 pounds. Bathroom dirty, a lot of... More

Bad points: The man on reception was clearly homophobic, after looking us up and down he tried to put us in a twin room. When we told him we'd booked a double room he snapped that we needed photo ID - a lie. He then booked only one of us in for breakfast so that another rude member of staff... More
