Stayed here 2 nights, got 2 our room and it stunk of stale smoke and you could not see out of the window, complained and got moved to a much better room that over looked the front of the hotel, the room we found was more than adequate for us and was relatively clean, the hotel was quite quaint with some nice features all... The rooms are quaint but, I couldn't help feel a little on edge because there are no windows in the rooms. It makes you lose your sense of time really. The rooms were kept okay but the corridors were a different matter. It absolutely stank of drugs! We didn't use the hotel for food, nor did we enter the bar... More

My girlfriend and I booked a night here so we could have a night out in Manchester to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. We foolishly booked this without checking the reviews on trip advisor. At first we thought we'd landed on our feet, great location and the hotel reception area looked nice enough. We then got to our room which... More

okay, where to start... took luggage and placed in the back room until we could check in. There was a buffet lunch in the hotel at a reasonable price of £5, so thought we would try it.... the food was disgusting....The soup was inedible, the main was cold, the meat in the pie i think represented dog meat,,, and the... It is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Run down dirty a room with no windows but it's classed as a smoking room!! Food was appalling and service was dead slow and stop. I hhonestly felt that the whole place was a health hazard and cannot understand how it has ever passed any health and safety... More

This is the worst hotel experience that I've had, and I've had a few. Staff ignorant and obviously used to complaints - manager refused to speak to me - I didn't stay and checked out and they refused a refund. Booking.com have tried to get my many back, hotel insisted that I stayed!! The rooms that I tried were disgusting,... More

Was here for a hen night and was expecting cheap and cheerful, but not dirty and so hot that it was impossible to sleep at night, one of my friends rooms had no window! Was glad it was just open night and glad to get out as soon as possible. When you can book really great places for the same... More

I visited with a group of 6 friends last year and as we arrived too early to check in we spoke to the receptionist who checked the computer and told us our roon wasn't available and to come back after 2/3. And avised us to put our suitcases in their porters lodge. So off we went to enjoy the sunny... More

I attended a wedding party on sunday, it was attended by around 100 guests and we booked one of the halls. The surroundings we pleassant enough, but the problems started when they were serving food. I sat on a table which was next to a door from the kitchen which i did not notice but took my seat. When the... More

Il be checking out of this dump in an hour thankfully! Great location and lovely restaurant but thats where it stops. There was only one receptionist who seemed to know what she was doing and was very efficient. At first glance the room seemed fine (I was sharing with my 15 mth old and mum) on closer inspection the carpet... More
