Booked for its location near Oxford Road and Piccadilly stations and its prices and that I was recommended the Best Western chain. However I had a room on the 1st floor on a busy crossroads. This sad hotel was obviously last updated in the 1980s and it shows - from the tired decor in the rooms to the bathroom facilities, this hotel is in dire need of some loving attention. Good location and nice main bar with friendly staff but the room was very poor. Smelt of smoke, linen was dirty as was the carpet and couldn't get a decent signal on the TV.
