I have visited the Midland Hotel previously in July 2012 and I returned again during a recent business trip. I am delighted to report that on this visit customer service was indeed exceptional from the greeting of doorman when entering and exiting the hotel. The hotel staff were very attentive, polite and very professional throughout my stay. Before dining I... More

My wife and I stayed here on Good Friday as we attended a play at the Opera House and decided to stay overnight. We got a good deal and paid £49 for a double room on a room only basis. We really couldn't fault the place. Room was clean and had everything; smart TV, aircon, comfortable bed, free Wi-Fi, tea... More

Stayed here overnight when in Manchester for the fabulous Kenny G evening. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable but too warm overnight despite air conditioning and the windows don't open. We didn't eat at the hotel and decided that breakfast seemed very expensive. However after our evening out we returned to Mr... More

Our family of 4 stayed for one night and loved the experience. The checking-in process was very straightforward and the receptionist was really helpful. The room was brilliant. Spacious, spotless and, to the delight of the kids, equipped with a smart TV that did everything! We ate out in the evening but came back to the hotel and enjoyed drinks... More

Opting for a king sized room and continental breakfast, I was more than happy to pay £95. My request for a room with a view of Central Library, met, I... More
