I just came back from a weekend in Manchester, staying at the Midland. The taxidrivers called it "the best hotel in M", and it just might be. At least it has a grandeur that not any others have in Manchester. Nice rooms, friendly staff (except from a rather pushy guy at breakfast..) and sensible prices did the trick for me.... More

My husband and myself stayed here recently and we were over the moon with our choice we booked it last minute for a great price, all parts of the hotel were clean and pleasant,staff were very friendly and food great. Will definitely stay here again
