Stayed in many hotels in Manchester, but always return to The Midland (when it isn't fully booked). Staff are great at this hotel - nothing is too much trouble whether at 5pm or midnight. Bit slow in reception checking-in but that is my only grumble. Booked a standard double which was a big room & bathroom, nicely furnished, excellent shower. Concierge very efficient parking & retrieving car. Good location, very central. Would happily stay here again. more
